Despite a bunch of technical problems, they got my car in on time and everything worked out melvin was a great guy and gave me a good experience. This was at the 97 st store.

We brought in our vehicle for a basic alignment. First issue, they called us to say it was ready and when we arrived, they hadn't even started the work. Then they kept telling us "10 more minutes" for about 45 mins. I watched our vehicle being lifted up on the hoist after being told it was done. Eventually this technician lowered it, backed it out and handed it over to my husband without taking it for a test drive. The tech also failed to mention he completely demolished this alignment. He gave it back with a crooked steering wheel which he 150% would have noticed as he backed it off the ramp and out of the bay.We took it to dodge to be repaired as we did not trust Midas at this point, they advised it was so badly damaged by the tech at Midas, there was no way they could reverse it. They tried heating up the parts to manipulate them and that didn't even work. They unfortunately told us to repair what midas did will be around $1000. Another thing Dodge said, Midas failed to mention is something was something was seized and this alignment never should have been done. He should have stopped what he was doing and came to tell us he would be unable to proceed. Which is exactly what Dodge did. Instead Midas jacked this thing so out of shape, dodge can't even fix it.We were then given the run around by Midas for a couple days. They have since refused to do the right thing and refund the cost of the obliterated alignment and made up a bunch of excuses on behalf of their technician, who should be ashamed of this. Thanks for keeping our roads safe ?You can see in the pictures the tires are straight and the steering wheel is basically at a 45 degree angle. There is no way this person should have been comfortable handing it over in that condition. It wasn't even that bad when we brought it in to begin with. Sadly I can't give less than 1 star. Find somewhere else to get your work done. This was actually crazy.

Came to Midas today for an oil change and meet the new manager, Melvin. He's a great guy and was terrific with the customers. No issues with the oil change, will be back in 6 months!

Went in today for an oil change and a flush and learnt this location is under new management. Melvin is one of the friendliest, courtesy individuals I've come across. Though he's only been there for a week, he seems to be exactly what the 97 st/130 ave location needs! He made sure to inform us about the issues with our tires, and even made sure we were covered for the cost of the oil change due to passed management's error. I hope people give this location another chance, given I know there was issues in the past, but with Melvin there, I think things will be so much better!

Was at Midas 97 st 130 Ave. Under new management, gentleman's name is MelvinPolite, courteous, very attentive to detail would recommend this store now under new management.

I went to Midas Auto Service at 13038 97th Street for an oil change on May 9, 2024, and was super impressed with both the work done and the friendly and knowledgeable service. Melvin was fantastic, a true professional, and he helped me ease smoothly through the process offering good advice throughout. Two thumbs up!!!!
