“This place makes the BEST Ukrainian sausage in YEG, hands down! Many others others such as the infamous Stawnichy’s uses unhealthy fillers and nitrates. They’re subpar but slimy.Marchyshyn’s uses simple and traditional ingredients to curate dry, authentic, delicious sausage & pepperoni.”

That and it's local and reasonably priced. I'd much rather spend my money here than at a big chain store. Also - they have rotisserie chickens and wings hot to go for pickup! Which is excellent. “Have been going here for over 12 years. Typically, go here for fresh halal meat... Lean ground beef is excellent, whole chicken and other fresh chicken are always extremely well cleaned with almost all the fat cut off, which saves me time prepping to cook. The BBQ spicy chicken is delish for a quick throw in the oven solution! Lots of halal options for kids - sandwich meats, chicken rolls, frozen in-house burger patties, halal marshmallows(!). Service is always friendly, courteous, and respectful. Shop is well-kept, organized, and smells fresh too (rare for a meat shop!). Owners are progressive and bring new and seasonal products.”
