Lovely shop for beauty and bath products in High-Street. They carry pricier, higher-end brands and handcrafted perfumes and candles like Voluspa. The employee was helpful and knowledgeable. I recommend this boutique.

I found the overall atmosphere to be unfriendly and the store had not sense of word of 'Customer Experience.' I purchased a roll on scent for a friend's birthday gift and found the store associate to be rude and unwilling to help me in finding a gift.When is came to checking out and paying for the item, the store associate said they do not have box for the product that I could wrap my purchase in for my friend's birthday gift.Not a store I will promoting or discussing with others. Word of Mouth is still powerful and many in retail never understand it. Nov 13 2023.

Great products and the staff are very friendly & sincere in their desire to be of assistance however, unorganized! Twice I've had to drive back to the store (a fair distance away), because the wrong colour/item was given to me. In fairness, first time this happened, it was one of the staff that contacted me to let me know of the error. I recently took part in a make up event where half my purchase was not available and had to be ordered in. Still waiting for these items to arrive which means another trip back to the store.

I had such an amazing experience here today. The girl working could be the owner, or if not, a truly exceptional employee. Not only is the store lovely, complete with parking in a cute shopping location, but the experience was also 10/10. I went in looking for sunscreen and I was treated to some amazing advice and products! I ended up leaving with a few things, thanks to the girl working who made me feel like I was shopping with a friend. If that friend knew everything I needed to know :) thank you!

Ask the staff, they are knowledgeable. Came in today for a simple exchange and asked them for a good lip product that actually won't dry my lips. Put it on chapped cracked lips in the store and within 1min my lips looked so healthy! They recommended 2 ilia. I picked the lip mask in the tub. Xoxo thanks ladies.

Love this store. They have amazing skincare products such as FHF which is an all natural line but works very well and prices are very affordable. The body lotions amount so much more it's definitely worth stopping to see for yourself you will not be disappointed.

I love their selection and products, but store hours are not honoured. I am no longer an Edmonton resident and went to pick up some of my favourite beauty products before retuning home. Today (Sunday October 9th) was a time that they were supposed to be open (12-4pm), and when I went at 12:50pm, they were closed. I checked social media to see if there were any updates for their opening hours, and there were none.Unfortunately, this is not the first time this has happened to me at Lux. I had an order that I placed online to pick up in store (I was heading to Calgary for a work trip), and they were over 20 minutes late to open the store. When the opener arrived, she had a starbucks in hand and zero concern for the fact that she was late.Some of my girlfriends have also had similar experiences.Although I love their products and want to support local, shopping at Lux has been increasingly difficult due to the fact that they don't honour their opening hours.

Went into this place after an awful experience at a neighbouring retail store this Saturday.I was greeted by a lovely associate. She was helping another customer but when she was finished, came over and assisted with helping me with some suggestions for a birthday gift I was picking out. She also answered a number of questions I had about products as this was my first time in the store.I truly appreciate her time, friendly disposition and amazing customer service. The gift was a hit! I’ve already told many people about this store! I’ll be back soon to make purchases for myself.Thank you for not making assumptions and treating me fairly!

Lux has Jao refresher which is really hard to find. I couldn’t make it to the store so I ordered on line and had it delivered. It came really fast with a lovely hand written note from Hala and some quality samples. I can’t wait to get to the store for a a leisurely shop.

Staff if very helpful. Love that they carry Indie Lee products. I always learn something new when I go into this store (and we all know how many youtube videos can be consumed about makeup/beauty products). Its super cute, prices are reasonable and staff is very kind and helpful! Parking is also very good!

Products are meticulously reviewed for harmful ingredients, Hala is always full of great information and advice. Think Sephora, except personalized, thoughtful and staff who actually care.

I love the products that LUX carries! And that they always have new arrivals on everything from skin, hair, makeup men's products to candles. My favorite is the Kevyn Aucoin tubing mascara, it is a brilliant product where it tubes around the lashes, and doesn't flake and get into my eyes. I just need warm water to take my mascara off.I appreciate the ladies and how helpful and personable they are. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5, is because one of the employees tends to upsell me with 'bargain deals' of products in larger containers where I'll get my 'money's worth', if I am wanting to spend more money. I don't appreciate this, as I feel like I am in a McDonald's drive thru and getting asked if I want to McSize my order haha. The products here can be quite expensive, I also factor in quality and opportunity cost when purchasing products in general. One brand I wish they carried was Eminence.
