I asked 5 different employees for assistance regarding a product called hallow wall hooks. The first two called another associate, the third one didn't speak English, fourth one had never ever heard the term, and was not interested in helping whatsoever. Finally the 5th employee was very helpful and helped us with the best of intentions. A 15 minute visit took us over an hr. The self checkout was a hassle as well with a rude CSR....I will never go to this particular location again... signed very angry.

I recently bought materials from Rona for a basement development project, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience! Not only did I find everything I needed at a fantastic price, but the staff were also incredibly helpful every step of the way.
From start to finish, everyone I encountered was knowledgeable and genuinely invested in helping me find the best solutions for my project. They guided me through different options for materials and tools, offering helpful advice that made my planning and decision-making much easier. It was clear they really cared about ensuring I got what I needed without overspending, which I really appreciated.
Thanks to the team at Rona, I’m making great progress on my basement and feel confident about the quality of the materials. I’m thrilled with both the service and the value I received. Highly recommend Rona for any home improvement projects!

Went in to look for furniture legs, stopped, and asked two workers who were talking. They directed me to the correct aisle in the correct location within the aisle.

Quin went above and beyond with helping us with our custom blinds purchase. He provided exceptional service, speedy follow-ups, and advocated to get us a deal! 10/10 experience and I will refer everyone to him for blinds.

Horrible experience, I saw the discount on the website in the morning, I arrived at the store that evening to purchase, 3 employees acknowledged the discount and took the batteries and tool for me, when I went to pay, the manager came out and said he couldn't make the sale, no discount, said 279$ buy two batteries get free tools or 149$ just the batteries,
the manager was very unprofessional wasted over an hour and got nothing, I don't know how this store has survived for 85 years,
Please don't make false claims, my friend can buy it in Calgary, but I can't

You know, I have met some really awesome people in retail that are super helpful, insightful and genuinely organized. Well....not this store. I have never felt so disrespected. There was one fellow that tried to help me find a light and that if I wanted a display I would have to talk to the manager. So waited 30 min for this guy to come back from his 15 min break as I was told. Asked 2 other people for help and they were no help at all. Finally i talk to the manager and Holy something this guy was unapologetic and not helpful. I asked if any other store might have them and he said no.
One of the other associates told me to talk to the general store manger and he would work with me. Another just rolled his eyes.
Later I looked online and just 5km away that another store has plenty.
The service was absolutely brutal, if you could find a staff member that is. It was clear they did not care and were only there for a pay-cheque.
Go to a different store and save yourselves.

I’m writing this review primarily to highlight the exceptional service I received from Quinn. I’ve been searching for the right wood stain for about a month and have gone through 7 different stains that didn’t match. After visiting this location three times, every other employee I spoke with was unhelpful—except for Quinn. He went above and beyond to find the exact color I needed when he could have easily been indifferent, like the others. This kind of work ethic deserves recognition. For a multimillion-dollar company, he definitely deserves at least a $2 raise. We need to start rewarding hard work and dedication.
Thank you, Quinn! I hope you see this because you did an incredible job and I can finally re-start my outdoor project again!

I went to the store, and the customer service was really bad. They didn’t even want to help me with the product I was looking for and were just talking to each other. As a result, I ended up grabbing the wrong product. Now, when I tried to return it, the store manager refused to accept the return. This needs to be improved.

We went to the store everyday for 3 days to find someone who could price match washer and dryer for us. We purchased washer and dryer from bestbuy.ca for a decent price but the delivery date was a month away. Went to Rona and realized they have the same product in store which can be delivered in a week. The difference in total price was $100.
First day the sales associate verified if the price was indeed lesser then Rona’s price but, this person could not price match because he wasn’t from appliance department. We told him there are only 2 left in stock at Best Buy and we don’t want to hear that they don’t price match sold out items. He said it shouldn’t be a problem. He asked us to meet Ashok the following day.
Next day we met Ashok and this person verified the price again but, the item is sold out and only manager could price match! We told him that we have receipt of what we paid and the item was in stock yesterday when we came in yesterday. This guy name Ashok said it shouldn’t be a problem and come again the next day to meet manager name Muhammad.
We spoke to Muhammad the following day and this guy said the item is sold out and we said yes but it was in stock and it has been 3 days we are trying to find someone who can price match for us. He looked again on Best Buy and said he cannot match the price of washer and dryer if they are bought together. We mentioned we are buying together at Rona as well and your incentive is half of what Best Buy has. We need the same items just match the price. That is all we asked for but unfortunately managers interpretation of the policy didn’t come in our favour.
Terrible customer service and this policy of not matching the bundle even if you buy the bundle don’t make sense to us. I wonder how long this place will be in business for with such level of customer service. They need smarter employees who know how to close a sale. We will never buy anything from this store. Extremely disappointed.
