On August 16 I had an oil change done on my 2020 Ford Edge. On a later trip downtown, we had a gassy smell in the vehicle when we stopped at a traffic light. The engine seemed noisier than normal. Later when we stopped I had a a look for something obvious under the hood and discovered the Oil fill pipe was open with the cap sitting beside it. It had not been put back in place! I called the store and and advised a guy named George who was going to find the tech and discipline. I now have oil on the engine cover and underside of the hood splashed with oil! Oil level is ok, but questioning in my mind what else may have been done wrong? Correct oil weight? . Don’t know if I’ll trust another Service at this store! Not happy about this situation and no call back from the store manager at this point!

I called to get some suspension work done, with an inspection from lady barb took it in, just to wait 24 hrs later to get a call back saying they couldn’t do it unless they took out my engine for an extra $500 of the original price I needed to get my car fixed.I left and took my business elsewhere and was able to get my car fixed for half the price. Just another shop trying to get an extra dollar out of you, with little care to truly fix whatever problems you have with your vehicle.If you need to get any work done go to Tichi auto repair. You will save time and extra money and most importantly the stress & headache.

Wish I could give a zero star rating, this place is a money grab, I used them because of the convenience but no more. Took my car car in for a tire repair. The lazy technicians in the shop didn't even take it off the rim. The tall, dishonest tattooed guy in the front area told me I needed a new tire for $300 bucks. The only honest guy was the older bald guy who told me to talk to my dealership. Ended up taking my tire to Trail Tire, who repaired the tire in an hour.

Wow, just wow. Brought my suv for an oil leak and was blown away by them inspecting it and not charging me. This location has always treated me well and it's first on my list to take my vehicles. Getting a vehicle repaired sucks, at least there's people at my local kaltire to make it not so bad.

Everyone here was so nice! After getting a flat tire when in Edmonton, they pumped it in -40 weather for free for us. That’s customer loyalty and service!

I absolutely adore the customer service reps at Kal tire this location and the one off yellow head and 140th..they are simply amazing, curtious,reliable,and just honestly one of the only places I have taken any and all of my vehicles too for tires and servicing....but during this miserably cold snap we r having I couldn't find an air compressor to fill my seriously low tire in this cold that wasn't frozen solid and not working and the only place I could think to go for help was kaltire ...they took me in in less that ten min checked all my tires and filled the flat for me and did it for free mind you I buy my tires from them but I know if in an emergency you just need air in a tire these amazingly busy folks will always make time to help a desperate soul in need of a little help and they do it with a smile that genuinely makes you want to come back everything and a free coffee while you wait is always a blessing. Been to this location a few times and always a great experience! Barb the manager is especially helpful and kind. I’m happy with my winter tires and even kept my all-seasons here for a couple weeks in storage while I was moving. I’ll definitely be back here! Thanks guys.

I’ve been here before for various tire services and it’s always been good. Today I went in for a battery replacement and was really impressed with what I consider over the top service/integrity. I identified that the battery was an issue and requested a new one. While I was waiting the mechanic Dion came over to say that he tested the battery and it didn’t look like it was faulty. I went ahead with the new battery but appreciated the integrity of Dion to test the battery and to give me the option of saving $300+ dollars. I also had some good conversation with him about various car issues. He really knew his stuff. Very handy having this business so close to home with knowledgeable people working there. I am very impressed and will always recommend this business in my neighborhood.

A senior lady had a flat tire on the front of kal tire . I went to the lady and gentleman at the counter and I asked if they can help her . With no hesitation they agreed to help with no charge . I am a regular customer and this location never disappointed me . Thank you again

I had an extremely frustrating experience at Kal Tire, Albany location. I initially brought my van in for a wheel alignment, which was the second time I attempted to get it done there. The first time, they called me and claimed they couldn't perform the alignment because I needed to replace one of my tie rods. I asked if they could order the part and take care of it, but they told me it was on backorder nationwide. This left me in a tough spot since I had taken a day off work without pay to get this done.I took matters into my own hands, found the tie rod part myself, and had it replaced by another mechanic. I then scheduled my second appointment with Kal Tire for the alignment. I made sure to book it for 8 am, right when they opened, thinking that would ensure a smooth process. However, upon dropping off my van at 8 am, they didn't take it in for several hours. This was already quite frustrating, given my early appointment.To make matters worse, when I called to check on the status, they informed me they couldn't perform the alignment once again. Their excuse this time was that the tie rod needed replacement. I reminded them that I had already replaced it, and that's when they suddenly claimed one of the struts needed replacing as well. This struck me as odd since I had replaced both struts less than two months ago.It became abundantly clear that they had no intention of working on my van and were merely making excuses. This kind of service is not only infuriating but also highly unprofessional, wasting my time and causing unnecessary stress. I will definitely not be returning to Kal Tire for any future services.

Had a slow leak and found a cracked wheel rim. Took few days to repair but it couldnt have gone faster. Management and the team was very professional

This Kal Tire is terrible. The one in the West end is so much better.Took a riding lawnmower wheel in to be fixed. Probably needs a tube. Well it's Friday afternoon so somehow they couldn't even find out a tube to order. "Maybe you should go to Martin Deerline to get a tube". Christ, this is a tire shop?? If you are the manager of this location you really need better staff.
