I get the bad reviews. Just moved to the neighborhood. Despite the bad reviews decided to stop in. The place is over half empty. You can tell at one time it was a actuall small grocery store. But going in it is basically a convenience store in a half empty building. With a bag of potatoes and maybe a few tomatoes and a couple frozen things. Not sure how this place is even open? Or why it seems to still sugest you can get groceries here.

Honestly this place is just kinda depressing. It could be a set piece in The Last of Us without much work. It desperately needs some reinvestment, or to turn over and let other businesses use the space

How is this place even still open? Every time I’ve gone in since the new owners/management took over, there is less stock on the shelves than the time before. There used to be things that I could always count on getting there, but now I rarely even try, especially if I need more than an item or two. It’s too bad, it used to be a place one could go to grab a few items instead of running all the way to a grocery store. Not anymore. I likely won’t ever return at this point.

absolutely hate to say it, but I've had it with this store's management for what should be convenient for the neighborhood. old management was incredible, new management terrible. recently went in and it smelled of sewer backup as well. almost always past the due date for items, and never in stock for any regular items.

As other commenters have mentioned, this location does not honor Shop Easy Foods fliers. Moreover, their prices are nearly double other grocery stores.

They will literally never answer their phone. Shelves are empty. The new management clearly had never ran a small grocery store and it shows. The old management was a hundred percent superior and they actually answered the phone!

If this place isn't closed down in 6 months I will be very surprised. There's nothing on thr shelves. Freezer doors hanging open with nothing in them. It looks like war time Russia in there or something

Bait and Switch?My wife saw an item on the Shop Easy flyer and sent me to go purchase it at the Hazeldean store (9633 66 avenue).When I arrived and asked about the product, I was told that this particular store isn't part of the flyer program, so no, I had to pay full price. At this point , I left.This begs the question of WHY put out flyers at all if your stores are not going to honor them?And if it is up to the individual stores, how about putting the stores that will honor the flyer on the front page, in say , 2 inch block letters. You know, something like ONLY AVAILABLE AT THESE STORES?I won't be back.

Great store I've been a shopper there since the old Tom boy days, meat selection is top notch and prices are reasonable I almost bought a block of mazzarela for just over twice the price of most stores but checked expirey date and expired, I can't believe this place is still open, 5 stars for lasting this longSent

I've been in the hazeldean neighborhood for around 10 yrs..at that time,it was great..great selection and reasonable prices..about a yr or so,it changed hands,don't know if a management or owner change..a month or so later, I noticed that the shelves were emptying..if you need pet supplies or bread, it's ok but if you want anything else, like chops,fruit, produce,etc,don't waste your time going there..the place is a shell now.

I used to shop at lot at shop easy and don’t mind paying a little higher price for the convenience however in the last few months their shelves have gotten emptier. On the average if I need 6 items at least 2-3 are out of stock. If I have to go to a second store to get what I need I will save time and money doing all my shopping elsewhere. I know having worked in the industry that it is hard for a small store to compete with the big ones but letting the shelves go as empty as theirs are is only costing them customers
