“Great locally owned business. The young man (Mohammad?) is always super friendly and helpful. They carry lots of variety of items and always have interesting imported items. For the reviews complaining about products being 1$ more here (which isn’t necessarily true), wouldn’t you prefer to spend the extra dollar to support a local small business than give it to a giant corporation?”
“I finally found Onigiri in Edmonton! And it tastes just like I remember. Labeled Kimbap though, so more likely to be a Korean version of my favourite Japanese snack. Basically a riceball stuffed with tunasalad mixture perfectly packaged with nori (seaweed)kept crisp until you carefully open the package. Follow the instructions! I spotted lots of other delicious Asian food products as I wandered through the store (perhaps similar to T&T Supermarket?) And would love to go back and try their Ramen stall one day!”

“This place is so home-y! I loved walking in here for the first time. There are a bunch of small gems you can't find at other grocery stores, and the atmosphere here don't feel sterile and cold. It's like walking into a family farmers market. Really comforting and inviting. Selection is great, prices are better than Safeway (ironically since they're owned by the same company technically) and it was easy to find what I needed. It's a bit of a drive but honestly I'm considering doing it just because it was way more relaxing to shop here!”
“We needed a lunch catered for a 200 person event at work. We went with the Freson Bros taco bar option. Freson Bros gave us numerous options for people with dietary restrictions (including multiple gluten free and dairy free options). Everyone LOVED the food and there was more than enough for all in attendance. The staff at Freson was FANTASTIC to work with and went above and beyond in all of my interactions with them.
Following the lunch, we had a number of attendees ask us who the caterers were. In addition, the staff at the meeting venue were extremely impressed with Freson and told us they would recommend them for other rentals that require catering.
All in all, very highly recommended. We will certainly use them again if the opportunity arises!”

I recently tried their Biryani, and I was blown away by the quality and taste! In fact, as I was driving home, the enticing aroma from the biryani made me even hungrier!
Edmonton has some decent biryani, but for the longest time, we always had to visit Calgary for an authentic biryani experience. However, I wi t have to worry about driving down south for a few hours to get good biryani because in my opinion, Biryani Boyz offers some of the best biryani in Edmonton!
Great job, Biryani Boyz! I will definitely be back. For those who are price-conscious, you'll be happy to know their biryani is priced lower than the competition. Great taste, great quality, and great price! Very rarely will you ever get to have a high quality product for a low price! Come check these guys out, the flavours are incredible!”

“Visited this place for the first time today and was greeted, helped and assisted. I grabbed lunch as well, they served hot food. The jollof and chicken were delicious. Happy I found somewhere for my African groceries!!”

“Got into a motorcycle accident just outside this shop a few days ago, the owners immediately came to check on me and my passenger and brought us a bottle of water for free, they then allowed me to use thier camera so that I could have video footage of the accident. Very grateful for the help they provided”
“This is the primary grocery store I shop at. Have been shopping here regularly for the past 6 years. Great store and staff. Wonderful bakery, produce and meat departments. Great cashiers. Friendly and always very attentive to packing. Truly is the best grocery store in Edmonton. Clean, well stocked and great lay out. Ronnie, Shirley and Amanda are remarkable cashiers. “Good stock! Has everything you want + more. Lots of Alberta/Edmonton brewing companies which I really appreciate. I accidentally dropped my bottle after purchasing and they were so kind about it and helped me out so much. Workers are nice and ready to chat!”

“I've been shopping at this store for years, and have always appreciated the staff and service that you provide. But today, I saw an interaction that deserves to be recognized. There was an elderly lady who was struggling to find the items that she needed, and so one of your staff walked with her and helped her find milk, potato chips, and who knows what else. She was patient and helpful and kind to somebody who would have struggled on her own.
I tried to find her afterwards to pay her this compliment directly, but she was nowhere to be found. Like most superheroes, she probably just quietly went on to doing other superhero things.
