We had an unexpected experience at the Ellerslie Corner Great Clips location. I checked in online through the app, and we arrived between 6:30 PM and 6:35 PM on Friday . Upon our arrival, both staff members gave us strange looks and said, 'We are closed. We need 20 minutes to finish closing our shift.
What about locations where only one person handles closing, like the Chappelle location or possibly others? I hope the staff at the Ellerslie location can receive proper training and improve their approach towards customers.

They're checking system is a joke. I've never had an issue with any other location until this one. I checked in with an 18 minute wait time. I showed up in about 15 minutes and I still waited another 15 minutes that's almost double the wait time. Staff was working extremely slow and talked more than actually cut hair had to walk out. Yes this was the day before school started there should be more than two people on shift.

(Reviewing on behalf of my 91 year-old mother)
Mom goes here occasionally for just a shampoo.
Last week they told her that due to the costs of water and wages, the price is now $22.
Mom pointed out the price was always much less (the website price still is only $7). They argued with her, and said the old price “doesn’t work for them any more”.
Mom said “your new price doesn’t work for me!”
So basically they tried to rip off my mom.
She left, and won’t be going back, and she’s been telling all her senior citizen friends about it.

I had a bad haircut with my buzzcut 2-3 priors so I went to Roop to get it fixed. She fixed my hair, didn't make me wait, and gave me amazing customer service. When I go back I will always ask for Roop. Thank you Roop for your amazing professional customer service.

Rude hair dressers all there. Don’t listen and if you ask to go what you want then they got angry and do worse job. Don’t go there it’s waste of time and money.It’s clearly they have no idea how to cut hairs , not know how to even hold the machine.
