Pretty poor experience unfortunately. I went here to buy a pair of shoes and was not greeted by anyone upon arriving, even though there was only 1 person in the store. Then when I found the pair I was looking for I had to actively approach an employee who was socializing with another employee at the counter, joking around and changing the songs playing overhead mid-song. I did not feel great about the fit of the shoe but the salesman told me that it appeared to be a good fit and seemed annoyed when I requested another shoe to size check. My friend who was with me agreed that the guy helping me did not seem to care to help me well at all.
I ended up buying the shoes as it was inconvenient to go to another store and I wanted to support local; however, I ended up returning them a few days later and going to another locally owned shoe store where they have me great service and attention even though they were busy and were very willing to grab me a bunch of different shoes and I found a great fitting pair of the same shoe there.
I gave them 2 rather than 1 star because I was really impressed with their selection of beautiful shoes.

First time I decided to get something outside of the regular footwear(store) and decided to get something at (a good pair of shoes more like a investment at gravity Pope) White av great service they go the extra mile,? will be coming soon for another pair of shoes. Thanks Chandelle for your help.

Stopped by to look for a pair of shoes that I was having a hard time locating elsewhere in-person. The store had a lot of high quality shoes on display, and the employee who assisted me was very friendly, but I was disappointed that they did not have the shoe in my size. I was offered the equivalent size in men's shoes instead, but would have preferred to try on women's shoes in my own size. Was not comfortable buying, as the men's shoes looked very clunky even though they fit well. Would have appreciated it if the employee could have provided me with info about when they planned to get more stock in or offered to order in a pair for me.

This is one of my favourite shoe stores. They always have classic styles and quality made footwear. I have been a patron for many years. The customer service and the time they take with you make sure you’re happy is the best.

Warranty for online orders needs work.Edited from an earlier review, I had some issues with a warranty claim on an online order for a pair of redwing boots. I do not live locally and was originally told that I would have to pay for shipping both ways on the warranty claim. I opted to wait until I was next in Edmonton but was not able to get a new pair when I came in as they did not have any ready. Got a call today from Lisa the DM informing me that I was given the wrong info and they will, in fact, cover the shipping on warranty claims. She was very apologetic and made extra effort to ensure I did not feel put out. While I hope to never need a warranty claim again, I hope the issue does not happen for anyone else

I love Gravity!I’ve been a loyal customer since my early 20s and that’s saying a lot!I mainly shop their shoes but I buy a few pieces from their clothing lines..though I find it a bit $$$$It’s nice to see different lines & styles beyond your mall regulars.Whenever on Whyte I like to stop by and check out the latest styles.I often call and put items on hold and the staff has been very polite and helpful over the phone.In store, service varies depending on the time of day and staff .It’s definitely crowded on the weekends.Parking is a nuisance though just like it is for any business on the strip.There is a reason why it’s been a staple in YEG for so many decades.

The staff are very well informed, helpful and provide great service. I have been shopping here for years and have always been pleased with the service, the unique selection, and the quality of the products! The best shoe store in the city!

I recently had to return and exchange an online order at this shoe store. Chandelle was extremely helpful and patient with my inquiry. She made the process smooth and easy. I really appreciate her assistance, will definitely be returning for future purchases when I’m in town, I highly recommend this GP flagship store!
