Kind friendly people at Good News. They have a happy countenance. I have dealt with three individuals in the same day and all seem happy and enjoy their job. I came back here for car repairs and maintenance because they are a one stop shopping sort of thing. They explain everything in detail and get permission before proceeding with the work and letting me know what can be deferred for another time. I like that I can also get a car loaner while mine is in shop. I also like that they have a program (Jumpstart) to help those in need. Shows where their heart is ❤️. Thank you Good News. My car is running well!

Not recommended this shop ,,I went there for car insurance inspections for my car,they don’t passed because they said the rear strut is leaking,,but when I check it ,it wasn’t leaking at all,,,,they quote me 1000+ to change the rear strut and alignment….yeah total of 1300+ include the windshield …

Desk staff was really great, and did a great job of walking me through the work being done and the charges. They ended up saving me over $200 than what I was quoted elsewhere! Will be coming back!

I never had a chance to thank this incredible company for the fast response & work they did on my ‘08 Cobalt a few months ago when I was having some electrical/steering issues with my vehicle.
Unfortunately, due to come engine problems over the last few days, my vehicle has reached its limit after years of maintenance & service! Thank you Good News Auto for allowing my car to run that much longer & I will definitely be back in the future should I need assistance with my new vehicle!

I recently had a fantastic experience at Good News Auto that I feel the need to share. As a single mom, managing finances can be challenging, especially when it comes to unexpected car repairs. However, the team at this auto shop truly went above and beyond to assist me during a tough time.
From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and understanding. They took the time to listen to my situation and worked with me to find a solution that wouldn't break the bank.

If you are on the fence about where to go for work on your vehicle, go here. I originally went to Midas for new brakes and they told me I needed new calipers because one was seized. They quoted me over $1300 and when we said that was too much, they still charged us $50 for the inspection. I looked around and asked Good News Auto for a quote and with calipers, they quoted me $870 which was MUCH better. When the mechanic was taking a look at the brakes, they told me my calipers were fine and did not need replacing. They could have just done the calipers and charged me for it, but because of their honesty, customer service and very fair prices, they have made a customer for life. I will go back for all my maintenance and repair needs. Thank you Jesse and Ryan!

We came all the way from New Jersey and had a problem with the A/C on the way to Alaska. We called them while driving through Edmonton, and they promptly answered and fixed our problem in less than an hour. They provided the best customer and car service, smiling and patiently answering any questions we had, and fixing the car up perfectly. Definitely a place we recommend!

I don’t even know where to begin. The BEST mechanic shop I have ever been to!! I could not recommend this place enough. Firstly, the staff are absolutely incredible. They are never not smiling and they’re all so kind and helpful. They remembered little details from previous conversations and they’re so friendly. I am a young woman and I often feel mechanics will take advantage of me. Not this place! They explained every detail of my car so thoroughly and simply. They explained all of my options, they used actual parts to pinpoint where my issues were, and they never spoke down to me once. Their customer service is above and beyond. I was also so surprised and impressed when they knocked off either half or even the entire diagnosis fee from my bill when I did get my vehicle fixed. Their quotes were substantially more affordable than any other shop I went to. They finish on time, they provide super cute loaner cars, and they’re just a wonderful business all around. I recommend this shop to everyone!! 12/10 service, a 5 star business, and an amazing company mission and story. If you ever need your vehicle repaired, absolutely go to Good News Auto!

Great honest shop in Edmonton. Good News has been doing work on my Toyota Corolla and Nissan 370z for a while now. They price honestly and wont take you on a ride for your money, which is huge when looking for a mechanic shop. Kelsey even stored my 370z inside over the weekend as the car was not able to start and they took great care of it. I will continue to come back to Good News for regular maintenance and repairs.

Went there to see why my vehicle was losing coolant, and was told I should sell my vehicle from the reception.
Other mechanic shops were much more better when it came to diagnosing the problem, and providing me with a better quote.
2013 Kia Sorento 3.5L. Why would I sell it?
And to reply with the reasons why is kind of silly, I get that you’re trying to lift the burdens of the 1 star review.
Maybe tell them reception not to laugh and smirk around like i couldn’t afford the quote.
That’s the only reason I went somewhere else.
Fixing 2 head gaskets and installing new suspension parts plus the labour is a lotta money.
I go where my business is valued.
