280 for a car inspection? And the guy was rude, nah thanks
Update: I did not want to get an inspection for free. I was willing to pay and I did call a day prior to check if you'd be open. You were rude and had no intention to understand or listen to what the problem was, you were condescending when I asked for the price saying you had expensive machines, there was no need for that tone, I'm a customer but I'm also a person who deserves respect.

By far the best shop I’ve gone to. My whole family trusts TJ and the whole team and we’re always surprised by the price and the time - AKA how cheap and efficient they are! We’ve had inspections done here, big jobs, little jobs, and there’s no one else we’d rather go to!

Great automotive shop. I appreciated the honesty of TJ in diagnosis of my truck's front brakes/rotors issue and extremely swift repair/replacement of bad components all in half a day. They certainly deserve 5 star for customer service and quality of work.

I took my 2020 F150 in for a mile long list of maintenance items; tune up, oil, brake pads/rotors, rad clean out but I also needed new shocks and struts and a fuel service. TJ was great, walked me through the options for struts/shocks as I was looking for something more aggressive than standard OEM parts. We didn’t think we could get the parts in while the truck was there, but these guys were able to source the parts with a different vendor and have my truck back to me much faster than we expected.
The entire experience was great from start to finish, TJ kept me in the loop with progress and even with my parts choice, the bill was far less than I was quoted with my dealership.
I can’t thank these guys enough for the great service and appreciate the boys perseverance dealing with all the mud as this is my work truck and was completely coated underneath. Sorry again if you see this guys!
I’d definitely recommend TJ and his team, and I’ll certainly be back in the future. It’s a night and day difference in the ride, can’t thank them enough!

Great service at this shop. I brought my old, rusty 2007 Ford Focus into the shop for a problem I was having with it's clutch. I've always had a go to mechanic, before my recent move to Edmonton, and wasn't sure about taking it to someone else. But the people over the phone were understanding and super friendly, and the mechanic who worked on my car did a great job.
They got me in quick and tried the solutions that I had asked them to try before going into the more expensive fixes. They were honest with their quotes and ALWAYS called me before doing anything else, and gave me a fair estimate on cost each time. There was no surprises when it came to the bill and they didn't try to sell me on anything other than the solution to my cars problem.
At the end of it all, they were able to get it fixed quickly and even though it took them longer to fix my problem than what they quoted me, they still charged me a fair price, and I'm eternally grateful for that. The mechanic even took the time to make sure he was at the shop when I arrive so he could walk me through what went wrong with my car.
If you're looking for a shop to take your vehicle to, this is the one. They won't hit you with any bogus charges and know what they're doing to get the job done. I will definitely bring my car back here, anytime I have problems in the future.
Make sure to bring them donuts. These guys deserve it.

I have been coming to Gear Up Auto for a few years, and I would recommend this shop to anyone who wants reliable and quality work done on their vehicle. The mechanics operate with professionalism and integrity, the service is excellent, and I trust them with my car.Shout out to Brian, who is really knowledgeable and goes above and beyond. He always takes the time to run through the service, explain future work that might need to be done, and answer any of my questions.
