On September 17 2024 I brought my truck in to have two new tires installed at Fountain Tire on Roper rd and 50 st. When I was called on to pay I asked the gentleman did you put the front tires on the rear and the new tires on the front like I asked? I thought this was the way its supposed to be installed. He said I don't know what they did back there. When I was finished I had to ask do you want me to come back after 100 km to do a retorque. He said no we take it around the block a couple of times and retorque it right away, that way you and us are not inconvenienced. It was rush hour and 50th street had a mile of cars and It would have taken them an hour to make It back if they did take it for a drive. They didn't go anywhere with my truck and when I mentioned it to their manager Ian he wasn't concerned at all. He had someone come to my job to do the retorque cause like he said "the city has a way of their own of doing things". That's not a city thing that's standard procedure for all vehicles. Who cares about being inconvenienced doesn't safety come first? It's usually the company that's concerned about that and not the customer. When I got home the key for my club that I lock my steering wheel was missing off my key ring. When I phoned them the guy said he looked everywhere and couldn't find it. After two days all of a sudden it appears out of nowhere on the floor where anyone would have seen it, I thought the guy looked for it.The boss tells me they found it where I dropped it and sends me a picture. So he would have me believe I took my key off my ring and dropped it cause I'm so incompetent then took the ring that my key was on, off my other ring and handed it to the girl, impossible. Like I told Ian I'll bet it doesn't show that on their camera, no of course it doesn't . But he would have me believe something so ridiculous, than believe that someone could be malicious and take something that doesn't belong to them. I never had such poor service before and I won't be back.

Recently bought a set of SAILUN TerraMax at3 from fountain tire on North Albert Regina. And I want to just give a heads up to anyone else who is thinking about buying tires from them. After they installed the new tires on my truck I noticed a bad vibration so I took the truck back and informed them I was told the tires are good but need to be broken in ( not a real thing) after the tech took it for a test drive. I ended up taking the truck to a different fountain tire location and was informed the one wheel was bent. A third-party checked the wheel and informed me the tires that had just been put on are factory defective. I informed the owner of the fountain tire where I purchased the tires and he seemed good to deal with however, I was up charged to change to different tires. To a set of tires I didn’t really want but kinda felt like I didn’t have much of a choice. The other staff at that location acted like they were doing me a huge favour by changing out the bad tires and that I was lucky. That they are willing to honour the 30 day like it or leave it policy and or warranty to cover the defective tires. However, I still feel like the truck should’ve never left their shop with a set of bad tires on to begin with. At the end of the day I made 5 trips to fountain tire. Draw your own conclusions this is just my experience with fountain tire.
I spoke with the owner of that location and he was again good to deal with. I appreciate that he was willing to take time and call me after hours. We were able settle things on better terms

Very poor experience at Moose Jaw and Swift Current Fountain Tires. Moose Jaw put the wrong size tires on the rear of an SUV, then Swift Current put the wrong size on as well. Will not own their mistake and are not willing to work with us to remedy the issue. Take no responsibility. Very rude customer service. Will not go back again!
Within 12 hours I had a response and my opinion has changed. They are going to own their errors and will be replacing all 4 tires in Moose Jaw. THANK YOU!!!

Just a FYI. Your corporate office really should do an audit on store 212. The franchisee is using the business to benefit themselves with purchases that have nothing to do with the business itself. Two recently let go employees know this firsthand . One was key in helping them do it.

Been a Fountain Tire customer for for than 25 years. Not anymore.
This was posted on the West Kelowna Fountain Tire Review site. Not a great experience.
My Fountain Tire experience started October 16th 2023. Just needed tires changed from summer to winter. Was told that it would be about and hour maybe an hour and a half to wait. Two and a half hours later still not completed. Then finally they are done. I go to get in my truck and the tires are in the back even though I have paid to store the tires. I go back in and they ask me to pull around the back of the shop. Nice young guy comes to take the tires out. He asks me why I have one old tire. I said what do you mean? He shows me an old bald tire that is in my truck. I said that is not mine I have 4 brand new new tires not even six months old. He said he would take care of it and takes the tires into the shop. And like a fool I believed him.
Take my truck home. A couple days later my Neighbour says what happened to your truck? I said what do you mean? He showed me that my truck had a large dent under the tail pipe. Someone had backed into something with my truck. I knew it wasn't me because I am the only driver of the vehicle. I took it to Fountain tire to ask if they knew anything as they were the only company to drive the truck other than me during that time period. Originally the owner was sympathetic and seemed to want to help. Asked me to get a quote. Claimed they didn't do it. I had no proof because I hadn't noticed it for a few days. But my discussions with him went on for months. He did offer for his insurance to pay for it, but ICBC declined that claim leaving me to pay for the damage.
I decided not to go back to that Fountain tire. Called to say that I would pick my tires up. The manager said okay, you have three new tires and one old tire. I said no, I have four brand new tires. One of his employees had recorded into the system the error that was made the first day that I was there. I sent him a copy of the receipt for the tires that I had purchased just in April for the four new tires. Not impressed. He defended the employees saying they were busy, these things happen etc... Makes me wonder if the employee did it on purpose?
Overall a high level of incompetence and an employer who defends his people even though the evidence demonstrates a high level of incompetence!
Rated the experience a 1 although it should really be -10

Fountain Tires biggest problem as a company is their technical debt. I just left after 6 weeks. Their 'computers' are fine but the servers are SO SLOW it literally messes up the person behind the desk because it's like performing on a playplace calculator just trying to input a customers name. So to customers who get infuriated at 'technical errors' blame their ancient servers, not the staff.I build computers, I even fixed one of the company tablets while I was there. I can't believe how neglective Fountain Tire is to stay even remotely up to technical speed. Computers are HUNGRY, and you're going to learn this 'now' whether you like it or not.You NEED to upgrade your servers. Dont need to change software. Give your staff the performance headroom to do their work. NOW!!

Had to have my vehicle towed to Sherwood Park with a flat. Next morning at 7 A.M I got a rude phone call about how I picked a bad day to have a flat, my truck was taking up too much room, and they were going to drive on my flat to move it. Then the same guy advised me I wasn’t even their customer. Funny bought the tires there and when it comes to warranty I am not in system. When another guy called to tell me my truck was ready he tried to charge me for flat repair. Had to go through the whole I am not in their system again. Can’t communicate with each other how do they communicate with customers? 2 days later tire going flat again this time hubby went over because of how ignorant they were to me the first time. The so called manager more or less said too bad they were busy, wow not only did we buy the tires there but now it is a repeat repair and too bad they are busy. When we got an appointment for 3 days later they kept the truck the whole day to be a bunch of idiots. I would not recommend this store for anything. Hop across the street to Kal-Tire. The service is so much better. That is why we went there for the tires and rims for our other vehicle. Never again Fountain Tire!

Had a bad experience with the white court shop . I wrote a review giving them one star. That wasn’t posted and another one star was removed. You can’t believe the reviews when they can alter the outcome.

I would like to express my shock on how I was treated at your Cold Lake AB branch! I'm appalled and disappointed in the unprofessional and bullying type behavior I have recieved just for writing a review based on facts! I was called the next morning by the owner just to get scolded on the phone for writing the truth! I was told when I wanted warranty work done for the faulty part that was put into the vehicle that I would have to wait approx 3 weeks to get it done ...which will cost me my job because I have no way to go to work.I'm wondering if this is how all indeginous Canadian customers are treated? Very very angry customer

Worst experience I have ever encountered. A few managers that don't know have a clue about how to do their jobs or how to even manage anyone, and lazy. Behave as though they are in high-school cliques. If I had the option they would get no stars from me at all. Extremely high turn over rate.

I had a tire fix on my trailer back in January the tire tech jacked the trailer up in the wrong location and the trailer fell off the jack damaging the suspension after a week of going back and forth the had the trailer repair and they agreed to pay me for my time and trailer rental it is now May and no one will call me back and if they do they say we do not accept the charges and don't want to talk about it. I have been very patient with them but from the beginning they have been trying to get out of all responsibility. It was good that they paid for the repairs but that was the cheap part. I am out $3500.00 on trailer rental cost and 15 hours of time between transferring the load off the trailer they damaged to the rental trailer, picking up and dropping off the rental trailer and picking up and dropping off my trailer for repairs from the damage they did. These are costs related to there mistakes and they are responsible for them and I have been trying to get this resolved for months and have been insulted by them offering me $600.00. They agreed to pay for my related expenses and they will not.

fountain tire has brutal service. had brand new rims and tires installed on a brand new toyota 4runner. Truck never sees gravel roads, before long tires began cupping and truck shaking horribly at 90km/hr. took the vehicle in several times over the course of about a month to investigate the problem. tire rotation is all they said i needed but it never fixed the problem. Had to go to Kal tire for a second oppinion, they realised the issue in 5 minutes because they actually jacked the front end of the car up rather then just put it on a hoist. rather then check the alignment they just let it go. now im on the hook for over 2000 in repairs because of their neglegence. when confronted i was offered 40 dollars for my used tires that i paid close to 2000 for, and they were NOT willing to do anything about the damaged front end.Calvin at the Red Deer edgar industrial branch is a real winner. my father in law polishes every large tractor trailer and wheels in the Red Deer area, good thing he has good relationships with these trucking companies so he can spread the word. Will never step foot in a fountain tire again.
