Have twice ordered online from Edmonton Fasteners, the second time we had some shipping problems, but the key to customer service is not when things go right but when they go wrong--and Edmonton Fasteners was great, a woman called me with updates and they handled things well and did the right thing throughout. Worst experience ever at the SW Location. I placed an order recently when they had a promo to have the items delivered to me in Calgary. I was on a visit in Edmonton. Placed 2 orders. In the following morning, decided to give them a call and save them shipping cost, i said i would pick these items on my way back to Calgary. The lady online was helpful and said I could pickup from SW location and the items will be available in an hour. Reach there, the guy at front desk (very rude). I provide him the info that I was told that the order would be ready. Worst attitute, he upfront said i dont see any order. Another lady shows up and asks him to check the system. I could see that the guy did not want to help. The other lady went back to the office to check my order, while this guy rudely said "Well i am not the online lady" and sat on his stool looking at the mobile. I told him "that is rude" and walked out. Called the online lady and cancelled both the orders. Never going back... They should learn customer service from Atlas Machinery and BC Fasteners....

Had an awesome experience over at their west end location. A massive shout out to Chris Harroun. He is one of the sales staff. He was very nice. Took care of my needs and was quick to help me out. I appreciate the treatment I got and will continue to use their services in the future. If you need any screws or tools definitely look them up. They will take care of you. Thanks Chris. It was a pleasure.

If you like tools, bolts and other such things, you'll love this place. They have everything. And after searching high and low online and in-person for a specific item, I finally found it at this store for a very (very) reasonable price.The layout is nice and spacious and it is easy to get around the store. A few downsides though: there are no prices displayed, so you have to take things up to the counter to find out how much the item costs and this can get tiring if you have several items. Also, with the exception of the greeter, it was very hard to tell who was a customer and who was an employee. And no one offered any assistance at any point, which was unfortunate.Anyway, I would return to this store, simply because they are likely to have what I am looking for.
