Store manager was more interested in talking with her colleague about a mistake she made than ringing up customers. I left since she didn't seem to be interested in ringing us up while we were standing in front of her at the till. Waste of time

Ordered online and clothes didn't fit so I tried to exchange them. The store said they have to refund the clothes not exchange and that they couldn't return because it was an online order that had to go through customer service. Customer service pretty much said there's an issue on their end and they weren't willing to do anything right now. Drove an hour for this return didn't appreciate them saying just try again another time. In the end customer service just ended the chat without trying to help. Not only did they manage to turn an exchange into a return but I won't be ordering from them anymore.

My husband purchased a winter parka from Eddie Bauer online site in November 2023 as an early birthday present, and after wearing it only 2-3 times, I noticed a broken zipper with a missing tooth when I took it out this September getting ready for the winter season. Fortunately, the jacket was still under warranty, and the customer support team advised us to visit the West Edmonton Mall branch for assistance.
When we arrived at the store, we politely explained the situation to the staff member (elderly lady) at the front desk. However, the response we received was unexpected and disappointing. The lady, initially denied our claim and stated that the jacket had been worn far more than what we had mentioned, which was untrue. Her tone felt dismissive and rude, which left us feeling uncomfortable.
Thankfully, after involving customer service on the phone, the situation was resolved, and we were offered a refund as the store didn’t have the size I needed. While I appreciate the eventual resolution, the overall in-store experience was unpleasant. I expected better customer service from a brand like Eddie Bauer, where we spend $$$ in a year. I would always consider shopping online then walking in this store.

There is nothing convenient with shopping in person anymore. Went to the west Edm location on my lunch break to “quickly” purchase a few items. I drove all the way from St Albert. The tills were down, all 4 staff had no idea who to call or what to do- they were dialing random numbers out of a binder and it was never the right number - nobody suggested an alternate solution (if I worked there I would have offered to at least accept cash) I left my items - they lost a sale for poor problem solving. Might as well make it a online store and lay off all the dead head employees.

The whole stuff and everybody is super kind but man. Tina is like literally useless like freaked out when they're wasn't a tag on one of the pieces of clothing and like spent 30 minutes with another customer before me. Like holy cow get rid of her

Horrible customer service by THE MANAGERName KAREN she was bullying for no reason and was very rude .I was there for a regular return under company policy but she was not happy with that,very disappointing and frustrating experience?? .Not recommended this location but Eddie is a good brand pick other locations.
