“(Nov 18/23) It’s been years since I’ve walked into this Dollarama. Can’t believe how much foot traffic there is… I couldn’t bother to even look around with the amount of people. Just got myself a juice & lighter. Thank god I had some help at the till because I wanted to get out of that hell hole as soon as possible. Unless that store has products that other Dollarama’s don’t carry I’ll shop there again if not then I’ll likely avoid the place”
“With the raise in ceiling price at Dollarama we are seeing a lot more cool things like poly bags of Lego and Funko collectibles!I love Dollarama.Each and every location!You can find so many neat things at decent prices. The greatest finds are those one off lot purchases Dollarama will pick up from some sort of liquidation that they sell for really cheap.Most recently we picked Monster brand LED lights to back light a tv. I used it to back light our bed.”

“There was a branch in Rabbit Hill. The shelves in this store were quite organized. The presentation was better than in the other branches we visited, and the artificial flowers section was very attractive.
The shelves here are also quite neat, and there seem to be more styles of artificial flowers than in the branches I visited before. The staff displays the items in an aesthetically pleasing way.”
“My name is Nellie and I am a regular customer of Dollarama in the Bonnie Doon mall. I am pleased to bring to the public awareness the strengths of this store. It is managed by an experienced, ethical, hardworking, knowledgeable and genuinely caring manager by the name Tim. He is a strong team player, he trains his staff well and works with them daily. I found the store is always well stocked, very clean and well displayed. His employees are knowledgeable, hardworking, honest, genuine, caring and walking extra miles daily. I sensed humility and excellent work ethic among the staff members. When you enter the store , you find many items at reasonable prices as advertised and genuine welcome. Tim, manager not only has strong communication skills, management skills but good listening skills, he is treating his staff with respect , trust and appreciates their daily contributions and he is not taking them for granted. I wish them well and continued success.”

“A bigger dollarama, however they had a huge line up for cash. They need to bring back cashiers. Customers are slow as heck ringing in all their stuff. I don't love that a lot of stuff here is the same price as Walmart. No point in shipping at a dollar store, since it's $5 now. There are never any "sales" and no product return. Their prices should reflect that.”
“Great small business, you can even talk to someone at the till. it's not giant but it has a good selection. There's good parking there are never over busy and I find the card selection for a different celebrations really good.”
“I love shopping here, but I have an issue getting in and out of the store when shopping with my stroller. It need buttons for automatic doors so that people do not have to fight with the doors as they going in or out. I know other location that have them.”

“My go to connivence store! It has literally everything you can think of ranging from cleaning supplies to chicken fingers. The guy who works there is very nice and considerate and always trying to brighten up peoples days!”
“Those two for a $1 chocolate bars are really good. Specifically, the Island Bar (a clone of a Bounty) is probably favourite of any chocolate bars (including name brand ones found elsewhere).”

“Dollarama fills a weird niche where they have regular stock to fill the shelves and provide value beyond a regular corner store but also have irregular goods( which are usually the best deal) that would have once gone to somewhere like liquidation world. Long lines are not uncommon.”
“Just wanted to say I was in line around 3:05 today and that I’m so sorry for the woman who was being so rude to the workers! Especially to the girl with the pink/purple in her hair. Yes there was a long lineup but Its not her fault if they are understaffed-that’s on management. I’ve been there. It doesn’t matter how frustrated you are, we all need to be polite and have basic respect and manners towards eachother. The worker did nothing wrong. I hope the rest of your day is okay!! <3”

“Well stocked, well lit store, with everything you'd expect to find at a Dollarama. I found the kitchen gadgets isle to have good sturdy products with loads of diversity to choose from. The gardening isle is always a fun isle to get your garden/yard ready for spring. I find that the rope dog leashes they sell are amazing leads, at a fraction of the cost of what you'd pay buying something comparable at a pet shop. I love the items they have for house plants, I find a houseplant pot I want every time I'm there.Just keep in mind that while there are standard products that you'd expect to find at a Dollarama, sometimes they have unique items that maybe won't be available for too long. So you want that super cute squirrel lawn ornament? I'd buy it then instead of risking it not being there upon your return.The only other thing I'd suggest is to make sure you check that the product you choose, especially if grabbing multiples, have all the parts needed and that things like lids work. I have sometimes (ok many times) been in a rush and haven't noticed something doesn't quite fit or work right until I get home, which leaves you down the item and, if you're like me and you're not going to go back to get another 4.00 item because it's not worth the fuss/gas, then you also need to dispose of or repurpose/recycle.This store's staff was pleasant and helpful, and while I was there only the self serve check outs were available.”

“We were in the branch at Mill Woods Town Centre. People could also find tableware, stationery, tools, pet supplies, household items and more here. We found reusable silicone food bags that I hadn't seen at other branch I had visited.
Although it is a branch in a shopping mall, the variety and quantity of goods are no less than those in other branches. They also sell a variety of environmentally friendly food bags and many styles of pet supplies.”

“Excellent shopping experience yesterday although what I needed was something I found myself after browsing all the aisles as the staff working on shelving said they were not available - I am glad I persevered as the check out staff was efficient and kind in packing my various items meticulously in several bags - friendly and kind whom I do not forget and will greet her in future visits..pics to post in due course but I want to give a shout out for the staff who took care of me during my massive shopping experience at Dollarama in Londonderry mall for the first time as I shop more locally at Unity Square or Edmonton City Centre #YEG”
