Appliance was delivered damaged (dropped/crushed). Delivery personnel claimed I had 24 hours to inspect and notify regarding the damages. When I called in, they said it’s up to the manufacturer’s warranty and that I should have refused the delivery. Not impressed.

Stars may increase depending on how they resolve this situation. Started off great at the store. Delivery personnel were awesome and very helpful. But it looks like the salesperson placed the wrong model number on the order, and we got a lesser model (non induction vs. induction) delivered. Now, I'm just waiting for the store to open on Tuesday after the New Years weekend to resolve this.

Very very disappointed again , no response to emails , what kind of Coustmer service you guys providing? It’s been a year since I moved to new house but this vent is still missing ? What a shame , please advise us when you guys can install the missing part? I expect better service after spending more then 25000$ on appliances.

Just tried to purchase a dishwasher online, bill came up to about $1300. Tried to pay and got an error saying the payment failed, but in my online banking the transaction seems to be successful. So now I’m out $1300 and don’t have a dishwasher. I tried calling their store today but no answer.

All I wanted was a quick and easy fridge purchase and decided to go with Coast Appliances instead of a big box store as I thought the service would be better. The actual sale was straightforward and quick, however everything after that has been horrendous.The delivery was scheduled for a Saturday so I called Saturday at 9:00 a.m. to confirm it was still coming and was told “it is the second or third item on the truck for delivery”. After waiting at home for 5 hours I called again and was told it wasn’t being delivered today and was in a completely different city. Although I wasted an entire Saturday, I understand these mistakes can happen so it wasn’t a big deal and was told a Manager would call me the following Monday and they’ll reschedule.No call on Monday, so I called near the end of the day and was advised the fridge would now come on Tuesday and the Manager would call me back soon. The fridge arrived on Tuesday but the fridge was not setup correctly and the delivery team said I’d have to call back and the schedule another appointment for that, even though I was explicitly told this would all be completed at time of delivery (I’ll also note they didn’t take the carboard/garbage as advertised in their “white glove delivery service”). Called once again and was told the Manager will call me back soon. Wednesday, still no call so I called again and was told they’ll call me back right away. The install company scheduled another appointment on the Friday (and they were quite great, but a completely different company so that makes sense).So, after 1 wasted Saturday, 2 days home from work, and way too many phone calls I have a fridge….but the Manager never did call me back. Next time I’ll just go with Best Buy (and recommend others do the same!).

I don’t usually care to post reviews but here i am posting one to inform everyone of my experience so far with Coast! At first the experience i had with buying my appliances from coast was pretty good, friendly staff and they offered tips on what appliances fit best for my home. However, once i got possession of my home, my fridge didn’t actually fit even though i got all my recommendations from the salesperson at Coast (the width didn’t allow one of the french doors to fully open and hit the wall), and they even had the blueprint of my home from the builder so that they know what size fridge should fit. I was warned by my builder that Coast has a tendency to offer the wrong fridge size and then customers have to switch out and pay a restocking fee. And it looks like they were right. I chose a smaller fridge and i got a refund but no one has given me a breakdown on that refund and I am still waiting on an invoice for it. On top of that, still waiting for my new stove, i have a loaner but i also have no update on the actual stove, I ordered it months ago. I found out that the salesman i had assigned to my account left but at least the manager or another sales person if they got assigned to it should follow up on my emails on providing an update and provide a breakdown of my invoice. The salesman that left was good with keeping in touch but now I am just fed up trying to get an update. Communication with customers needs to be improved if there’s a change in staff and also i feel like i am getting ripped off from the wrong fridge situation. So for folks looking for a fridge for a new home, PLEASE double check and don’t rely on the sales people to inform you on the right size fridge even if they have blueprints. Apparently it appears that its ‘my fault’ and i should pay for the restocking for believing in what they tell me. Customers aren’t always right but they are also not always wrong either. :)

Stony Plain Rd location: received quick help, very friendly. bought a dryer. Delivered on the date agreed, delivery people were very friendly and professional. I would definitely buy from Coast Appliance again & recommend them to everyone.

I bought a dishwasher from them and asked for delivery and install. They delivered the dishwasher and couldn't get it to work properly. They didn't seem to care too much that they sent me a broken appliance and do not return calls. I've been trying to push them too send a technician to get it fixed and they just give excuses. Terrible customer service. I do not recommend this place for appliances.

I purchased a new range, the staff at this location (westend) are great. They are very knowledgeable and gave excellent customer service. The store had great brands to choose from.

Actually i wanna give them 0 Star. Worst experience ever. We bought all appliances from Coast for our new house.I ordered my stuff one year forehead, but still I didn’t got my delivery on time. When i moved in my new house i waited 1 month for my washer dryer and for my fridge. Nobody informed me when i will got my stuff and how long i have to wait. When i call them to ask nobody knows anything. On the day of delivery the just told me that we was there and nobody open the door, but at the time my mom and husband was home and was waiting for delivery. After that i call them again to do the delivery they said wait other 2 weeks for the delivery. They dealer Dean from cost appliances who was dealing with us stop to communicate with us ( no more information form anyone). After that i call the manger in Calgary he helped us after 2-3 calls for the delivery. On the other delivery day they made again issues and cancel the delivery. Last call to manager helped me that i got my stuff. To much headache, physically mentally stress. Did the laundry in the laundromat, paid everything from my pocket. No refund nothing for waiting for so long. I will never reference my family, frnds, to go to cost appliances. Staff unfriendly, not helpful..

I have bought multiple appliances from coast appliances. The people who work for Coast are exceptional. The products are usually pretty good. That being said , BEWARE OF THE EXTENDED WARRANTY. If you need to use the extended warranty it’s a nightmare . They use Transglobal service for the extended warranty. Transglobal is terrible to deal with . I do not recommend buying the extended warranty from Coast appliances.
