The staff here are more unprofessional than the stoned teens at Cineplex.
Let’s lay it out. It’s a convenience store and I could really care less about formalities. However, apparently making eye contact, acknowledging, and speaking to customers is no longer a standard.
I’ve been to this location since it was a Mac’s store. This type of service is entirely unwelcome here. The staff are always on their ear pieces talking on their phones. They can’t even be bothered to read out your purchase prices. Blasting music on Bluetooth speakers is pretty standard here.
The last straw for me(to not blast them on Google) was when I asked if they had anymore hot and ready foods being made for the night and the staff pointed me at their earpiece implying they couldn’t hear me because they had it in and kept it in. That’s not even the best part. The best part was me repeating myself and then the staff shaking their head rather than answering “no” like a normal human being.

Half the time when I come here there is a sign up that says "back in 5 minutes", and they are NEVER back in 5 minutes. I've sat and waited 15 minutes before. Is this location ever open?!

Don't trust this place one of there might staff workers. Has a card reader and stolen my info. I had to have my card changed . My bank told me it happen there. I don't use this card much so it was easy to track it back to them. Plus there has is always over what everyone has there has. Place is just a rip off big time .

Don’t waste your money ordering from here off DoorDash etcI just ordered and 3/4 things from my order was wrong something. I ordered two drinks of the same flavour one is missing and the other one isn’t even the right kind. I ordered a bag of chips paid 6 dollars for the big bag I got the small snack size. What a waste of money

I am not hard gambler but I buy lottery tickets here almost every week, but I like to fill my own numbers on the lottery forms, but the forms are always ran out and the forms desk is always dirty (had been like this in this covid environment since July 2020)....yes the store owner must be a Saint and he is trying to send me a message 'no forms for you so don't play lottery', tell you something, I brought a LottoMax quick pick since there was no forms to put my favourite numbers, but the unfamiliar numbers on this quick pick returned $48.70 on a five dollar investment... Yes, I got your message, I had better give my business to another store across the street. Everyone is different from one another in different ways, maybe /may be?

I like this store and go there often but, there is a clerk who works there that never wears his mask. I am sick of telling him to put on his mask and I probably won't return until I see him consistently wear it.

My wife and I have lived in this area for 32 years and have always had a great experience with the staff. The always remember what I want even when the new staff arrives. The management introduces the new staff and I feel valued. It is a difficult life style that no to many want or would do but this group at Riverbend are great. Sometimes cleanliness is tough but try and run a retail space for a couple of weeks then put on their shoes. These people are amazing. I shop here for a number of reasons but shopping local helps them balance this tough and demanding investment.
