When I first bought my Terrain in 2023, my experience was fantastic. It had a few issues which was repaired by their service department after a few months. Fast forward to 2024, I booked in a tire changeover, when I arrived, expecting the service to take an hour or so, was told that my appointment time was only to drop off with a service advisor. They offered to Uber me where I needed to go, however I had my daughter and grandson as I have never had to leave my vehicle for an unspecified amount of time for a simple tire change. They said they would get it in asap. I do admit I neglected to pull out the lug nut key, but did advise them where to find it. I was messaged a half hour later saying they could not find it and I should pick up my vehicle. I did, came home, and found the key EXACTLY where I described. I later had an issue with reduced engine power. Dropped it off, and they diagnosed it as needing a software update. Approx 5 weeks later, had the same error message. Again, I dropped it off, this time to be told they did have to replace a part. 5 months later, I get the same error message. This time I am told that because I did not get my oil changes done at GM, they can't verify it was done correctly, so my warranty is invalid and the list of repairs are the exact same parts they replaced in July 2023. Will never spend another time at Capital GMC.

1 star for the service department and 1 star for the nice people but boy is their finance department a mess. They’re only after easy approvals and they don’t listen to the customer. You phone them they have no idea where your file is and no clue who you were dealing with. They don’t deal with sub prime and openly admit it. They won’t try to work the best deal for you. They have a nice inventory of new cars and trucks but that’s it. It is no wonder that they have to have these special sales events because they’re not making the sales that they want. Stay humble only interested in 700beacon score clientele

At 9:06 a.m. I made an appointment to view a used truck. Appointment was for 10 a.m., so I needed to be there in 54 mins. Headed out and was looking forward to the viewing. Upon arrival, I get notice that the truck had "just" been sold. Disappointing to say the least. The good news was they have other used inventory. Really? Sounds like the old used car lure job.
