Don’t go there for tires. Went last week to order winter tires and made appointment for install this morning. After dropping off the car and getting back home to wait for the car, they texted me an hour later to let me know that they only had 3 tires out of 4 and they didn’t know when it would be available. What a waste of time!!! Never again!!!

Purchased a car seat, stressed to them we needed to know about the return policy because we had to know if it fit in the vehicle. She said it could be returned if not opened. We tried to return it the following day(not opened) and they would not accept. Need to train employees or educate their employees on there policies better because it costed us 630$ all because of uneducated employees

Review for Customer Service Agent: “ NADIRA ”
I recently had a very disappointing experience with Nadira, a customer service agent, while trying to return a lawn mower I had used only once in the time frame of 90 days. From the beginning, she was dismissive and rude, telling me bluntly, “Don’t think much, you’re not getting your money back,” without even considering my side of the story. This came across as a biased and unhelpful response, leaving me feeling undervalued as a customer. I expected a more understanding and professional approach, and her attitude really did not meet the level of service I would expect. This kind of customer service is not appreciated and left a very negative impression.

We have had three recent interactions that have been exceptional. Two vehicle services with easy online bookings, on time availability and early delivery of finished cars. Outstanding service from the General Manager, Department Manager and a product representative helped answer all questions & concerns as we made our purchase. We won't go anywhere else now.

Will not prefer to shop at Canafian Tire at all if possible. Better go yp Rona or Home Depot, anywhere else. They push you between location when anything goes wrong with your purchase. Treat it as when you shop at Canadian Tire is like Dollaram, but alot bigger price tag. Staffs at the customer services are not nice too.

I don’t know when that happened but our Canadian stores don’t offer price match anymore. In this economy? Ludicrous! Bought an item 5min ago, found cheaper at Cabella’s refuse to refund or price match. Way to serve the veteran community. Won’t be giving them any business anytime soon. What a disgrace.

I’m a long term Canadian Tire of customer of over 40 years, probably spending tens of thousands, and I think I’ve made my last purchase there.
I had to purchase a battery back for occasionally boosting two vehicles I have. The very first time I attempted to use it, despite following all instructions, it wasn’t enough to start my F-250. As usual, with any Canadian retailer of household goods, I repackaged it like new, boxed it up with all the bags, manuals, etc., and went to return it because I had already ordered a more powerful, and more reasonably priced unit on Amazon, but got told by “Harpreet” (who was rude to me) that a refund was impossible, and the parts manager Nick only echoed this, even though I returned to the store two days later only to find what I had returned back on the shelf for sale at full price. I was given a store credit (although they pressured me to make an immediate exchange) but when you buy something, find it doesn’t work, and return it in saleable condition, I expect my money back.
This is NEVER a problem at Princess Auto, Home Depot, or even Walmart. Be very careful with any money you spend at Canadian Tire, because even if you’re sold garbage, you’ll never get the chance to spend that money anywhere else, ever again! The TFW program and profiteering of working folks has gone too far.
Such a return policy, when I read it through, just seems like another Indian scam making its way into Canada. Also seems like a very small man Nick trying to be important, despite his customer service paycheque. Shame we have children leading the blind. I’ll give him the name, “Sukhdik”.

100% not recommended if you are looking for somewhere to purchase new tires!
We were surprised to find an additional charge applied to our bill that was not mentioned upfront or reflect on our original receipt. Additionally when my husband requested that two of our old tires to be returned to us after the installation of the new ones, he was informed that Canadian Tires would need to recycle them , however we did not receive any prior indication of this policy, my husband intended to ask for them back, luckily he had marked them at the beginning and later found our tires on their shelves placed with their good tires together ( not sure why they were placed there) , we really hope Canadian Tire can clarify these practices to avoid any confusion in the future not saying we are going back there again but to be fair to other customers. Overall our experience felt deeply disappointing and highly unprofessional , also left us questioning the honesty of your operations.

Went in to go get work done on my truck and they did work on it but they didn’t fix what needed to be done ended up spending 2100 dollars for them knowing I’m gunna come back to fix what I needed fixed in the first place

Love Canadian tires. There in stock is not always up to date (not just this one, like all) one thing they all have in common, maybe it's just my entire family, but the shocks when walking around! Minor jolts of electricity especially when you have a cart lol

A week ago, I attempt to shop in this store was unsuccessful, due to discrimination against people with backpacks. I cannot trust my things to people who do not bear any responsibility for the things left for storage, and the policy of the company, which a priori suspects visitors as potential thieves, does not allow me to trust the safety of my things to the employees of this company. In a country where discrimination is prohibited by law, we have places where discrimination still flourishes.
