Staff were all so helpful! I had some questions and they all were very knowledgeable and even went the extra mile to check other locations to see if they had the item I was looking for since they were out of stock. Ladies at the cash register were also lovely to talk to!

I had the worst customer service ever. My first time shopping here, and I will never buy anything from Cabela's again. I made an order online, waited days without hearing any update on if my payment was processed, if it was shipped, if there was a tracking #, nothing.Sure, so I decided to reach out. I phoned in, waited on hold for 52 minutes before giving up. Phoned in the next day, on hold for 40 minutes, no answer again.Ok, so I used their email customer contact form. Didn't hear back either.I tried cancelling my order, TBD if they actually see that or not.I found the same item from a different reputable Canadian company, they literally processed and shipped it within 1 hour. No word of a lie.Who would you give your business to? Come on guys, do better.

Probably the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. I will not be purchasing any more firearms from Cabela'sI recently bought a 270 Ruger American rifle for almost $1,000 after tax.After purchase I went to site the gun in only to find out that the scope was not tightened properly.I went back to Cabela's to get a new scope,(due to the scratches on my current one from sliding around when firing.)The manager refused to do any kind of reimbursement or replacement for a new scope.He said there is nothing wrong with the scope only " cosmetic scratches "-If I was going to buy a gun with scratches I wouldn't spend $1,000 on a new one. I would go to the used section and buy an old one.-He also said with the scope being that loose I should have noticed when dialing in the scope. Taking no responsibility and implying that it was my fault."I should have noticed"The only thing I've noticed was lack of empathy for a loyal customer. A customer who just spent over $3,000 on hunting and fishing gear. Eskimo ice fishing tent and auger, fishing rods, chairs, Buddy heater, propane tanks, blinds, etc, etc..And will be returning all of it still in the box with the receipt

We only come to Cabelas a few times a year, as we are not an outdoorsy family, and although this is the closest location to us, it's still almost 30 minutes away. HOWEVER, we always come here for the yearly Easter Bunny and Santa pictures during the holidays. And we keep coming back because it's a wonderful experience each time. The store is bright, clean, and spacious. The staff are always so friendly, from the store greeter to cashiers to the people running the photo area. They have so many different products to purchase in the store, including lots of yummy (made in-house), fudge, Candy Nuts, and popcorn. They have pet items, toys, seasonal products, clothing, outdoor gear, hunting essentials, and more. At the back of the store, they have a large rock & waterfalls display with many taxidermy animals to look at. It's always really exciting for the little ones. There is plenty of parking in the large lot outside the store, including handicap spaces. The store provides carts for all your shopping needs.

Found a great pair of boots, $109. Went through the shelf found a pair to fit. Got to the til to pay and they were over $200. Ruined my day. There was no price tag on the boots.Cashier just shrugged her shoulders. I left. Now off to Marks for boots.Sorry Cabelas, you don't get to fool me twice.

First time visiting this Cabela's and won't be the last. Angela was a literal angel, so friendly and kind. She helped my husband and I select items for our daughter as gifts and made excellent suggestions. Plus she made it a fun experience and was super genuine and sweet. I think we became best friends?. Thanks Angela, it was a pleasure meeting you!Susan

Decided to check out this store today. So glad that I did. Reminded me of Banff. Not just an outdoor store. It feels like you're in the outdoors. Very impressive.

I’ve have had nothing but bad experiences with this store! I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone!Let’s start with their guns, they have a policy of who ever sells a gun, mounts the scope to it.With that comes untrained personnel installing it and they will over tighten every screw on the sight, to the point where the scope is now broken and you will have to use your warranty to replace the scope and take the gun to an actual gun smith and pay more money for them to mount the new one properly.Not only do they know absolutely nothing about guns but they know absolutely nothing about their own store and their policies.I’ve been told to “bring my gun in for appraisal” more than 3 times now, they stated “there will be someone there to look at it” when I first inquired.So after you drive an hour into town to have the gun appraised, they will say “oh he’s not here today, come in tomorrow he will be here tomorrow”. So I drove back in the next day and guess what?!? I get told “we don’t do gun appraisals at all today”, I’ve now driven in 3 different times on different days and have called ahead to make sure someone would be available only to get in the store and be told there is no one to do the appraisal that day and to come back another day.Next we will go to the fishing department, where they have the same policy of who ever sells a reel will put line on the reel, yet again untrained personnel and when you get home and try the reel you will have to unspool the line and redo it yourself.On top of that they will also sell you broken reels and when you bring it back they will tell you “it’s not broken” and demand a video of you using the broken reel and showing it not working. Finally when you bring in a video of it not working they will then believe you and give you your refund for the reel they sold broken! So again multiple trips in to get a simple return done on a defective item they sold!This store is a complete JOKE with terrible customer service!I recommend P&D or Swamp Donkey over this store to everyone! Don’t waste your time or money in this store!

I went to return an item without a receipt or box, and the staff at customer service(Heidi, Dona, Tracy, and Kristine) did some digging and helped get me a refund. Extremely patient and professional group of staff members. I highly recommend shopping here for any gear you may require for any outdoor activities.

Tryed too do a curbside pick up and after making the order online I never got a call or an email from them this is the worst place for costumes services tryed call and after being on hold I was hung up on twice after waiting over 20 minutes and never did hear from cabelas at all my reclamation s too all Is too shop esware

It was my first time at this specific location. They were clean and really well stocked compared to other similar stores I have visited recently. Had everything I needed. Really does beat shopping online when you can just walk in and pick it off the shelf. Was also approached more than once by various staff to see if I needed a hand. Will definitely be back.

My girlfriend and I went today to get set up with a full new kit for fishing. There was an older gentleman working in the fishing section, unfortunately I didn't get his name, but that was some of the best customer service I've received ever! He set us up with everything we needed and even shared some clever tricks to bring out on the lake. If the owner sees this, please figure out who was working that section and give that man a raise!

I would like to recognize the excellent service of the switchboard operator Janice, who went above and beyond to help me today.I had called to speak with an associate from the fly fishing department to check if an item listed on the website was available, after sitting on hold without answer, she came back and asked if I would like to try holding again, or offered to try to assist me.Not only did she check stock for me (computersaid 1 in stock), she went and found it and placed it on hold for me for 24 hours as I was no longer in town and returning to Blackfalds.This was above and beyond, and very appreciated. I told her if she had been my sales rep previously I would not only have bought a fly rod, but a boat too! Thank you for going above and beyond for me.

Johnathan was amazing! We spent close to two hours there getting a custom education from a guy who wasn't even getting commission! He gave me hands-on answers and personal experience. He was engaged, funny, and so personable! Wrote down places for me to check out for items I couldn't get at Cabela's right now. Even got my wife to handle a few firearms! I will be back.
