I had my truck in for a coolant flush, brake bleed and power steering flush. I had trouble braking, and it turned out it was because I had Napa pads which were reboxed Wagner pads. Brookview resolved this issue with a very fair price. All work was completed on time and on quote pricing. I'll definitely be back.

I wouldn’t recommend this place for any sort or mechanical work. One week ago I posted my 2007 Dodge Ram up for sale on Kijiji. Had a fellow interested. He wanted a buyers inspection through Brookview. I said sure no problem. BIG MISTAKE! My truck is equipped with a positive air shut off so when when the mechanic tried to start my truck it wouldn’t. So he decided to flip the “Positive Air Shutoff” which then resulted in cutting air off to the engine. He then called the potential buyer I had lined up and told him he couldn’t start my truck, so due to that, he could not do the inspection. So my truck sat at his shop for 3 full days until I was able to bring my brother (Journeyman Mechanic) with me to diagnose the problem. And what do you know the valve was closed on the positive air shut off. As soon as I re set it, she fired right up. Note to self: if you have a vehicle that needs a proper inspection don’t go here. My brother said once we got it started that he could just imagine the hours they probably would have put into this truck to try and diagnose the issue when in the first place he should have never touched the Positive Air Shutoff switch!

Nice front end guy that works the place but as a female bringing my car in to troubleshoot a problem, I felt I was taken for the run around. It was a guessing game to figure out what was wrong with my car and it ended up only running worse after 1300$. Took to my dealership and was told the one thing they said it forsure wasn’t, is the only problem.

I've been trusting the guys at Brookview with my vehicles for the last 12 years, and I won't go anywhere else. They're honest, trustworthy, and reasonably priced. They will actually let you know which jobs should be done immediately, versus what can maybe wait a little while, and be dealt with down the road. They've always tried to help save me money where they can. It's really tough to find an honest mechanic these days, and I know I can always count on these guys to give me solid advice. I will always recommend anyone I know to Brookview.

I brought my 2010 Nissan Pathfinder into Brookview Auto Service because of a creak coming from the front passenger control arm bushing. The mechanic noted that my lower ball joints were "worn" and should be replaced. Despite my initial concerns of where the creak was originating from, we went along with the repair as we were told replacing the lower ball joints would eliminate the creak. $1400 dollars later, as I pulled out of the repair shop, I immediately noticed the same creak.I called and notified Patrick, who listened to my concerns, and asked me to bring it back in. It was further explained that the mechanic may have not greased enough and that they would grease again (without uninstalling the lower ball joints), and that it may take some time for the grease to work its way into the assembly.A month has passed, the creak is still there, absolutely no consideration was given to where the actual creak is coming from (control arm bushing) and at the end of the day I am out $1400 for "worn" lower ball joints that didn't even need to be replaced in the first place.I do believe that BrookView is a reputable establishment and Patrick and Noel are reasonable individuals. Unfortunately our experience with the actual service work has been exceedingly far below the level of service Brookview is KNOWN for.
