All I wanted was to purchase a gift card. I was told no we're too busy. How hard is it to issue a gift card at the cash. So I took my business elsewhere. Poor customer service

So bad that we couldn't purchase gift cards. Really wanted to buy for teachers but no luck. One seller offer to go to London drugs but they don't sell any tours gift cards. So disappointed.

I visited the store earlier during the sale, and I understand it was a very busy time. As a Sales Associate myself, I know how challenging the holiday season and Christmas shopping can be. It’s overwhelming at times, but I always make sure to do my best to assist every customer because that’s part of the job. Not helping a customer at all—or doing so with an attitude—is unacceptable.
When I asked Tammy, one of the Sales Associates, if a body mist was still available (since I noticed the tester was still out), she responded with a “NO” and an attitude. She didn’t offer any further help. When she realized I was staring at her, she added, “No, we don’t have that on this table,” but again, made no effort to help me locate it elsewhere.
Still hoping to find the item, I asked another associate the same question. She simply said, “If you don’t see it, then we don’t have it,” without even attempting to check or assist me further. Unfortunately, I didn’t get her name.
Thankfully, the gentleman who appeared to be Indian and was replenishing stock went above and beyond to help me. He looked at the pictures I showed him and searched the entire store to find the specific body mists I wanted. His effort and kindness really stood out compared to the poor attitudes from the other associates. His kindness, patience, and willingness to assist were truly exceptional, especially compared to the dismissive attitudes I experienced from the other associates.
It’s disappointing to feel brushed off as a customer, especially during such a busy time when great service matters most. However, the effort and professionalism of the associate replenishing stock restored some faith in the store’s service. I hope the store recognizes his hard work and also addresses the lack of customer service from the others.

I braved the Black Friday crowds and came out unscathed! The employee, Sharene I think, was amazing. I gave her a list of what I needed to find. She was so quick…lighting speed as if she was on a mission. She led me to the right area and then helped me go down the list as she pulled each item down and into the bag. Although the line looked long, it moved fast, so that was a pleasant surprise.

Sister was happy with what she purchased. I was only with her since she has no sense of direction.

How come Bath & Body Works doesn’t carry fall/halloween hand soaps/perfumes? Had to shop somewhere else for Halloween hand soap.

What a joke!!!! Drove into west Edmonton mall from the country to pick up items that were posted as on sale online. Once at the store, the “manager” would not match the prices advertised online and said prices are different in store. Yikes!!

My daughter and I had a great time checking everything out, deciding on which scents we liked best and the staff was friendly.

Why did my friends and I (three black ladies) have to get searched when leaving the store??
My friends and I shopped at Bath & Body Works at the West Edmonton Mall with so much excitement as there was a sale going on. After spending over $500 with receipts to prove it, we were searched on our way out, as, according to the policeman, multiple calls were placed to the security accusing us of theft. Mind you, we were the only black people at that store, we shopped like everyone else with Bath & Body Works in-store shopping bags. Nothing out of the ordinary.
Why should we, and nobody else, get searched for making purchases at a store with our hard-earned money?? Why the racial profiling??? Why the racism?! Being black is not equal to being a criminal! Black people make honest and quite decent living.
STOP THE HATE!

To say I am traumatized is an understatement.
Went shopping with two of my friends at @bathandbodyworkscanada @bathandbodyworks,
the one at west Edmonton mall.
We were done shopping, paid, about to step out, only to be stopped by the police that they got multiple calls about us- us means 3 black girls, that we were on a shopping spree, our shopping bags are big, so he got reports to search us.
We were confuse, gave the cops all our receipt, he went through our long receipt and items and saw we had receipts for everything.
He apologized and said he was confuse and don't know why they kept getting lot of calls and report about three black girls with shopping bags and that we could be shoplifting judging from the size of our bags and the amount spent.
First of all, @bathandbodyworkscanada, black girls are not thieves, we came to shop because we can afford it.
You are racist and you are profiling black people because of our skin color.
Other people were there to shop, no one called the cops on them.
This is racist and evil.
Again black people are not thieves nor broke.
