One of best halal meat stores in town, reasonably priced items. Quick stop for all your eastern and African spices. Excellent customer service. Highly recommend for convenience shopping. The store is clean and well taken care of.

There is no price tag on items which is not the way to do business in the west. The receipt you get does't specify how much one paid for which item and put the total amount without list of items purchased.I saw some spice with hand written price tag which is not good for the confidence of the consumer.I went to this store to buy a meat to cook/eat an ethiopian traditional meal. I hoped that they would understand my need as they are from Ethiopia. I paid 47 plus CAD for a two plus kg meat. I specifically asked the owner (I suppose) for a meat type for stakes and raw (from the rib) and he assured me that the meat was very good for those purposes. This was my treat to my family to cook for them after 7 months absence from home for work abroad. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the hardest unchewable meat I have ever experienced! At first, I doubted myself that I got the timing and the temperature wrong. However, I cooked the meat it turned out to be as good as a rubber. I had to throw away the rest of the meat as it was not good for anything. I felt hard done and had to lie to my wife about the price (20 plus CAD for kg of meat is not cheap price) and didn't reveal the place.I wouldn't have mind if they informed me that they didn't have the type of meat I asked for and I made my decision knowing the risk but they lied to me! The kid (I assume the child of the owner) confirmed to me that the meat was was from the ribs but it was a blatant lie.It was a sad experience for me as I was eagerly anticipating to impress my family with my new acquired cooking experience!

Hours says it's 24 hrs. That is not true. No sign on door to specify timing. Call or go somewhere else if in doubt.
