We have adopted two cats from here. This is the cleanest animal shelter I have ever seen. Staff were extremely helpful. Both cats have been wonderful additions to our family.

We recently adopted 2 cats here, a mom and her kitten. It was a great experience, everyone there was friendly, the animals seem really well cared for. We absolutely love our cats. Couldn't be happier!

The Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society (AARCS) is a grassroots animal welfare organization based in Alberta with a foundation of compassion and kindness, embodied by its hard-working staff, volunteers, foster homes and supporters. Our goal is to help homeless animals in our community and enacting societal change so that someday we may all witness a Compassionate World for All Animals.
Our Edmonton animal shelter, known as NORTH HAVEN, is designed as an Adoption Centre (cats/critters), as well as a temporary emergency and quarantine shelter for our rescued animals.
We encourage you to come to our shelter during our public walk-in hours if you are interested in adopting.
