After 15 years of using the same insurance company I switched over to Westland due to continual service issues with my last provider. Almost 6 month in to working with Shanisse and I couldn't be happier. She has provided a fantastic level of service even when presented with last minute challenges or super quick questions. I am very happy that insurance is no longer a stress factor for me.

David at Westland has been very helpful. David took over our files from another agent and has done a great job, including working past his regular hours to arrange insurance for a vehicle that we purchased on a Friday of a long weekend. We have had great service since he started looking after our insurance needs.

Needed to make updates to my policy and nice gentleman put me through to Barb who was super friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Made everything i needed to discuss enjoyable rather than painful.

Read these reviews and can't agree more. Since Gord sold and Carrie left, the service has been atrocious. I was with this company since 1995 and now planning on leaving. I can't seem to get consistent info, let alone a response. My rates keep going higher and when you try to ask questions, you get cut off by the broker. Just disappointed, I want to support small town businesses but this is not the experience I want anymore.

For the second time in a month I've needed insurance advice and an agent as I was changing insurance providers. First, I called Westland and was connected with Sherry Crandell who understood my needs and immediately got plans together for me, excellent price, coverage and service. Second Westland call involved knowledge and advice in a power of Attorney insurance matter and I was connected with Julie Hobenshield who is well versed in that sort of thing and gave me sound advice and provided me an email with a step by step guide to resolve my out of province insurance legal matter.If you like second to none service, knowledge, comparable pricing, actually getting a human when you call and no loose ends left over, give Westland Insurance a call, they definitely have impressed me.

What happened to the amazing small town service that this agency once provided? April 4th was my initial inquiry, today is April 24th. I am again told that a "senior broker" must review things and one was not available to do so again today. This would have been my 25th year as a customer, instead I will be cancelling my own and my wife's home and vehicle policies and moving to where customer service means something.

One of the worst experiences in customer service in the last 2 years. Misleading information and inadequate knowledge. Aside from the constant change in brokers since they seem to leave on a regular basis. CANNOT recommend!

Terrible service since Gord Ironside left! I had been a customer of Ironside insurance for 15 years. Westland has Missed changing our home owners policy to construction coverage as per my email. Did not make changes to my policy as requested in another email. Changed agents on me several times (never knew who to talk to when I called). I changed agents as soon as my renewals were up.
