Herman Nijjar and the staff at Carstairs Dental are truly fantastic. I avoided the dentist like the plague (like most people) but I needed a tooth pulled bad. I will never go anywhere else for my teeth needs. I never thought I would say “that was the best dentist appointment, I didn't feel a thing.” I never thought I would have said ‘best’ and ‘dentist’ in the same sentence. Go and see him, you might be saying the same thing as I did.Highly highly recommend for patients who are scared, nervous, and/or anxious.

My family and I have been going to Carstairs Dental for over 10 years. They are always kind, gentle, and offer evening hours. Their staff is friendly and always helpful and we recommend them to anyone new to town or anyone looking for a new dentist.

We are consistently pleased with the service we receive at Carstairs Dental! They are great with our kids and are always very understanding when they may feel nervous and are always good to work with when we often have to reschedule due to unpredictable work schedules. The staff from front end all the way through are always a pleasure to deal with!

Amazing service! They make sure you know what they are doing during the appointment, and in a timely manner. Also, If you dont have benefits like myself, they do try their best for payment options. Because lets be real, its expensive.

I had a bit of an emergency and they got me in right away. Everyone was so nice and friendly, I felt comfortable the first minute I walked in the door. Now that I livein Carstairs, Dr Herman is now my new favorite dentist. And Tasha is my favorite hygienist.

Haven't had a pain free dental experience in years... Doc Herman and Hygenist Tasha are great... between the two of them, being in for a crown and an emergency visit that was accommodated... so easy to get along with.

I recently had a dental cleaning and check-up at Carstairs Dental on December 18, 2023, and I must say, the experience was pleasantly surprising. Since the clinic changed ownership about two years ago, I've noticed a significant improvement in the overall atmosphere and service quality.Upon entering, I was greeted by the front staff, who were not only polite but also exuded a cheerful demeanor, something quite rare in dental offices. The vibrant atmosphere was a welcome change from the usual dreary and anxious feelings I associate with dentist visits.The clinic's cleanliness was impeccable, both in the waiting room and the treatment room. It's reassuring to see such attention to detail, especially in a healthcare setting.My appointment with the hygienist, Ranae, was the highlight of the visit. I usually dread dental appointments, but Ranae’s calm and welcoming nature made a world of difference. It’s been a long time since I felt so at ease in a dental office. She was patient in answering all my questions, no matter how trivial they might have seemed, making the entire procedure tolerable and surprisingly pleasant. Her ability to connect with patients was evident from the start, as our session began with laughter, easing my usual anxieties.Dr. Nijjar also stood out with his approach. Unlike my previous experiences with dentists, who typically come in, scrape your teeth a few times, push on your jaw, ask if you’re experiencing any pain, inform you about cavities and then vanish, Dr. Nijjar took his time. He thoroughly examined my teeth, and I felt like he actually cared about my dental health.To top it all off, they were able to find a way to work me into the schedule before the end of the year to get some fillings, which was incredibly accommodating.Thank you, Carstairs Dental team, for making my dental visit on December 18, 2023, enjoyable, not dreadful.
