Priced some tires that were reasonable. A week later I phoned to get them. It was about four days away and said I wanted the ones that they kept on file for me. Two days before the day I was to go in they confirmed my appointment. Ten minutes before my appointment they phoned and said they didn’t have the tires. They didn’t even have anything else similar. Ended up going to Fountain Tire and got a reasonable priced tire and put on in less than a hour. Last time I call Canadian tire since I took the day off because I’m a hour away.

They told me one thing on the phone and then entirely another thing at the store after I had already made the trip. All said and done, they don’t warranty their sales and the parking lot is full of garbage and way too small. There are far better hardware stores in town with much friendlier staff. Don’t waste your time here.
The manager was stand offish and rude.
Never shopping here again.
UPDATE: I did reach out to corporate customer service and they did a reasonable job making things right.

They have what you need but camping shelves with tents and air mattresses were bare. Parking lot is small and you would think a city would have a bigger Canadian tire.

You know I was in that Canadian Tire in Sherwood park yesterday and let me tell you that staff there is absolutely amazing. One of the best Canadian tires I've been to in a long time. They're there to help they're friendly. You ask for help and someone comes right away. I think you know for me to drive 45 minutes to go there. I might start doing that

Cashier was great. The seasonal Manger or worker was extremely abbersive. I also work retail and do not need to be yelled at and told I'm wrong. I felt extremely belittled and like I didn't know what I was talking about. I went else where and spent more money then intended but the service I received was great. I know the scanning code of practice that wasn't my argument. It was that several items were placed at the wrong lable. She was rude and not a happy person

My dad is 75 years old and bought a natural gas Weber barbecue. He had to find a gas connector to hook it up and went to Canadian Tire, where he bought the barbecue, to buy the attachment.
He was told in no uncertain terms by an elderly manager there that they won’t help him, because they are not a service provider. Wow! They were not kidding. No service at all…

We were looking at the trees they had in the garden center and found they were laying all over and needed care. There was even one pear tree that was literally sitting on top of the dirt in the pot. We were thinking that we could get it and try to save it if they would discount it alot more and we would buy another but the manager refused and she said it was same price as the ones in pots still. I was totally disgusted because they will probably just going to throw it out otherwise. We just ended up fixing the tree and repotting it ourselves right there so it might have a chance. I'm very annoyed at the attitude of this manager and would definately make me think twice before going to the garden center there again. If they don't want to look after stuff, DON'T get them.

Unfortunately the manager I dealt with should not be in that position as she obviously hates her job, staff, and customers! Retail can be VERY difficult, and maybe she was having a bad day...
She named a staff member that should be paying more attention to how she does her job, then didn't want to honour an overcharge in pricing. She agreed to it, then said she could only discount because they were losing money. Said she didn't have to honour posted price because the product I purchased was in the wrong spot.
Hope they realize that pissing off customers loses them WAY more money than the few dollars on a product.
If she hadn't provided such horrible customer service, I would have continued to shop there, but NOT happening now! Honestly, I hope she can find a job she enjoys and makes her happy. Must be hard being so miserable!

Went for a rose bush, and they had 2 different kinds, so I had to buy 1 of each. Was given some advice about planting them. Checkout girl was super nice.
