The motivation behind sharing this is to help others avoid unnecessary expenses and wasted time. While I was in the process of changing my driver's license, something completely unexpected happened—I discovered I had an issue with my vision. While I’m glad this was caught, it came at a difficult time for me, as my budget was tight and I hadn't yet received my benefits card.
At the office, they kindly informed me that I could still get an eye exam and purchase glasses, and once my benefits card arrived, I could be reimbursed. I was relieved to hear this and went ahead with the most convenient and affordable option. I had my exam with Dr. Calvin Chow, and everything seemed to go smoothly. The only thing I had asked was if I would be able to claim the $80 reimbursement afterward, and the answer was reassuringly yes—otherwise, I would have waited.
A few days ago, I finally received my benefits card. But when I went back to the office today, I was disappointed to hear that I couldn’t be reimbursed after all. Emily, who I believe really tried her best, explained that the system only allows claims on the same day of the purchase, and now it was too late. I understand that perhaps I missed something due to a language barrier or other factors, but I really wish they had told me upfront that this would happen, as those $80 were important to me.
I can’t help but wonder if this was just a misunderstanding or something else. Either way, I left feeling upset and disheartened today.

Terrible service and quality. Bought my sunglasses half day ago. Left my glasses in my car in a hot and sunny day for around 3 hours and the outer layer started melting.(I think it’s the anti scratch or anti reflective coating) The lens then became fuzzy. Brought it back and they just deny it with their lab report. Never had any issues with other shops before.

Did not have a satisfying experience of eye exam with Dr. Timothy A. Hay, OD.
1. I was asked to pay before the exam by the doctor himself.
2. He rushed into the exam and was not flexible at all.
3. I was uncomfortable all through the exam on his OCD
4. Will not go back to this doctor and certainly not recommended.
5. Seems knowledgeable - that's why give 2 stars

Stunning experience from Walmart vision centre.Great experience with Arun (Optician) and his suggestions took RayBan glasses awesome experience for sunglass and progressive.Really one stop experience and well recommended.
