Greg was awesome! - patient and knowledgeable in helping me finally find a deck stain I love!!! After many trips and samples from big box stores left me disappointed, I found a more exclusive product carried by walls alive ( exclusively I think) Armstrong Clark Natural Oak oil based wood stain which was so easy to apply and only one coat needed. It wasn’t sticky, clean up a breeze and turned very average looking spruce/pine into a very rich wood look. Greg was instrumental and helping pick out the right colour and product. Can’t thank him enough.! Even carried the product to my vehicle! Highly recommend for all deck staining needs. Worth the drive!

First time in the store last Saturday and had no clue of where to look or where to start. Nicole helped me HUGE! She was very knowledgable with the selections and understood my idea of what I wanted, left with some samples and came back on Monday and got what I wanted. Could not be happier with the customer service I received. I will be coming back for all future projects.

I have been there twice and although my demographic and my disposable income allows me to shop there I find the whole experience very very pretentious and not very very professional the owner treats it like it’s his house with his dogs and eating breakfast at the counters, etc. I don’t appreciate How important some of the sales ladies think they are and when I asked for assistance to go through some odd ends, I was told just do it yourself That’s not what we’re here for
I just find the whole experience to be quite disappointing frustrating and annoying. I will never shop here again and the parking sucks.

Walls Alive has grown into what I consider the finest design center in Calgary. The inventory of wallpaper is complimented by the phenomenal consultants there to guide you through your ideal selection.
The C2 paint is my standard for our renovation clients and the knowledge the two Greg's (and others) there at Walls Alive provided over the years has shown in the end product that we have given our high end clients.
Finishes on wood windows that breath and don't crack to stains for stucco to full depth wall paint that no other brand can offer.

I wanted to support local and not the big box stores that flourished over the covid nonsense. I have had nothing but the best service and advice from Greg. Painting me sample after sample and just doing an all around superb job to get me pointed in the right direction for a home project. Skip Home Depot's of the world and come visit a true Calgary business. Cheers.
