Candice and her staff are always helpful, positive and encouraging. AND they will actually teach you how to do various techniques in leathercraft. My go to store for leather and expert advice.

I've been tooling leather for over 50 years, and in my time making," Dead cows look pretty," I can honestly say that the store and staff are second to none. They are very knowledgeable and their customer service is outstanding. I live a good hour and a half from the store, but my experiences with them are so pleasant that I make a designated trip just to interact and visit with them!

I wish I could leave 10 stars! I have never in my life dealt with such pleasant people over the phone. They assisted me with purchasing exactly what I needed several times and shipped my items quicker than I expected. It made my day just to deal with them. Professional. Polite. Personable. Patient. Proficient. I can't say enough how impressed I was with their service.

Just took a belt-making class here and it was awesome! Great value for the prices and the staff are super accommodating and knowledgeable. I can't wait to take more classes here!

I love Tandy leather! Such amazing staff. They used to have a dog that would hang out, I miss seeing him as he was the sweetest dog and made my experience just that much more fun, but I understand that corporate has made a policy change. Last time I was in, Candice helped me, she was so professional, kind and sweet. I would come in just to see her. Would totally recommend coming in if you want quality materials, services, and to interact with incredibly kind people!!

I am reluctantly making a negative review of this store. I love the store and its staff, and have been shopping here for years, but I cannot abide the dog anymore. I've tried to work with the store manager, trying to only come in when the dog is absent or call ahead so the dog can be put away, but it's only a matter of time before someone is bitten, and my anxiety just can't take it anymore.The last time I came in I sensed an inexplicable coldness from the staff, so unfortunately I'm making the NE store my go-to now.I'm very sad and disappointed that this store is prioritizing a staff member's aggressive dog over customers.To be clear, I love animals, but this dog is unpredictable, very large, and often unfriendly. He's barked aggressively at me numerous times, lunged at me when I'm coming in the door, and growled and snapped while the manager strains to hold him back by his leash. He is decidedly unfriendly, and I suspect the positive reviews were written by friends of the dog's owner.

Their dog is hurting their business. That dog has no place in that store and will bite someone - just a matter of time. Fair warning! The dog was in a foul humor, and we had to leave because the dog growled and barked at both my wife and I. The woman in the store held the dog's leash, but the dog would not sit at her command. We had been regular customers over the past years.

Amazing people and amazing place! Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable! They have an amazing dog their too who is super friendly! Staff are willing to leash or our dog away at moments notice and are super accommodating to all clientele!
