Poor customer service over the phone, I can’t imagine what it is in store. The person I spoke to last Monday afternoon was rude—not wanting to help whatsoever. Just telling me they don’t know the price for a specific product due to not having it physically in store at this time.I also asked about another product and they said I should come in store to see what products they offer, but why would I do this if in the first place I call to inquire about product availability, meaning I wouldn’t have time to run around multiple stores?Just didn’t get the feeling they want to help their clients.I went to another store that answered my questions nicely over the phone. It’s that simple.After Owner’s Reply: I would have totally understood if the rep/owner would have said “Hey, I’m busy with a customer at this time, why don’t I give you a callback right after so that I can help answer your questions? Would that work?” Or something along the lines. Unfortunately, that was not the case. I was calling with specific products in mind (not interested with alternative at this point) and just wanted to quickly confirm they had those 3 things. Otherwise, I would have called another shop and gone where they had the items to avoid running to a place where they didn’t have them in stock.

Recently I started purchasing my dogs food at Trail Blazers, as it is one of the few stores that carry the food I transitioned my dog too. It's not a big brand store like Petland and I like that it's like a mom n pop type store. I have received excellent customer service from every individual I have dealt with so far, and the owner of the store really showed how much she valued me as a customer. With her great advice, she also provided me with samples that would potentially help my dog, without me asking for them. I greatly appreciate that. So if you are looking for that personal type of service, I would definitely recommend Trail Blazers as your go to store.

The worst costumer service and management.They don't change their prices on the shelve and when you get to buy the food, the price charged is different. I asked why the prices on the shelve are not accurate and the answer was : "then, we have to change it in the whole store!". It doesn't look they are interested in client's satisfaction!A bag of cat freeze dry that weights arround 400 g costs $ 51.99. I asked the girl at the cashier if has any samples or smaller bags of that type of food. She showed me a small zip lock bag with 20 to 40 ( 1cm size) freeze dry, something that look being the sample.The bag had a label on it with $51.99.I asked if this is a free sample or how much it costs: the girl told me it costs : $51.99This doesn't make sense to me and I ' ve told her, I mentioned that might be just for identification of the sample. The girl said, no that is the actually the price of the little sample!!!!WHO WOULD BE THAT STUPID TO BUY THE SAMPLE WITH THE PRICE OF THE WHOLE ORIGINAL BAG!!!!TOTALLY MONEY GRAB!!Answer to the owner: May 16 , 2022Hello Marlene,You mentioned that one of the store policies is to charge price on the product tag not what is in the system. However, the reason I am upset and felt compelled to leave a negative review was because the girl did not uphold that policy twice. The same thing happened over a month or two ago, it was after the second time I felt upset and compelled to leave a negative review. I commend you for leaving the original prices until the new product arrives, as you mentioned not all businesses do that and it goes to show you do look out for your clients. However during this transition, regardless of the discrepancy between the new and old prices, my initial shock and frustration to purchasing a product I had in the past at a totally different price than was displayed would have been completely avoided had the girl charged me the same price on old product.I would also like clarification on the refund policy because I did experience some difficulty ( first time) trying to get one. When I went to return my bag which had been charged the full price in the system, the lady said I had to come when the manager was in as she didn’t know how to process the refund. She said to return a week later when the manager was in. Whether she didn’t know or was just not authorized to do so until obtaining manager approval, I do believe a better system needs to be in place in terms of providing refunds day of as not everyone has the convenience of returning that week to return a product they are not happy with due to new pricing unbeknownst to them. After that first experience she assured me she would talk to the manager about the pricing differences. I think a sign saying that all old product is still susceptible to old pricing however new product arriving will have a price change and to ask the cashier for the exact price of that product would be helpful. And of course updating the prices as soon as that new product comes in to avoid any confusion.Ultimately, what really upset me was her overall attitude. This situation was clearly a misunderstanding but her poor customer service and inability to be fully informed and properly communicate the policies and changes to me is what led us to this. She even pulled my food aside and looking at the next client out loud said “I will take care of this later.” In her saying that, I felt it was indifferent to my needs in that moment. She did not ask me if I was okay to wait to resolve the situation until she finished serving the next client.Thank you for your response overall, I do appreciate you taking the time to provide a thorough and valid explanation. I received your phone message as well and want to thank you for again trying to get in contact with me. I do hope you can see the situation more clearly from my perspective as well.

We had a really pleasant experience with our first time at the store. The staff was friendly and helpful with getting the food we needed for our puppy.We will be primarily getting our dogs raw food from this location from now on.

I would recommend taking your business to another location, especially if you are new and looking for customer service. The store is lovely and well stocked, but we found that the staff member present was condescending and left us feeling pretty bad instead of answering our questions. We went to another Tail Blazers after and had an excellent experience, so that would be my recommendation.

Worst customer service ever! Myself and a friend now go to another location as we both found out we experienced the same awful service.The owner consistently acts like she is doing you a favour when you come into the store. Took her 2 days to return a phone call and she never apologized for taking so long, she just said she was busy and didn’t have time to return my call. Like Trump, she will never apologize. This is the first negative review I have written as I only usually give positive reviews. The owner is so arrogant she won’t even acknowledge this review. The new Tail Blazers I go to said they have heard other people have experienced the same terrible service at the 14st location! Never will go there again!

I'm not happy with this store everytime I've been in. The last time I tried calling and I also think if you can't be bothered to tell me a price of 1 thing over the phone, why should I be bothered to do my business there. Not like I was looking for a shopping list. I'd rather shop elsewhere. In reply to Marlene..if I'm looking for something specific rather than driving everywhere I called and your "policy" just tells me to shop elsewhere. But thanks. Its not like there is a shortage of stores
