The produce here is always bruised or rotten. And when I went there it smelled absolutely awful and it is very unsanitary and definitely needs to be cleaned. Products are also very expensive even if they are expiring soon. Definitely do not recommend

I do love most of the staff at this Sobeys, however today I observed something a little unacceptable. I watched one of the younger gentleman at the till touching his face and beard with his hands right before handing peoples food… I was quite shocked… I thought clerks were supposed to be aware of hygiene, and not touch their faces before handling peoples foods… rather unprofessional

Cashiers could be a little more involved in the customers instead of each other but teens will be teens.

My favourite thing about Sobeys used to be the baked goods, but now it’s Jeremy’s 5-star customer service. Kind, professional, and super helpful—10/10 would recommend him any day!

A very pleasant grocery store (not a general merchandise warehouse with groceries) clean, well stocked and organized. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Sobeys is not as cheap as Superstore, Walmart or Costco for grocery items, however, they provide a better overall experience to buy your food, if that is important to you.

Things are overpriced, couldn’t buy anything from bakeries because everything had mono- and diglycerides, bakery people were not very welcoming or pleasant, few variety in specific items.

Bought Carmel cheesecake. On top some sort of whip cream topping. Not real whip cream. All 6 people at dinner thought it tasted terrible. Skip cream stuff
