My experience with the Google Card consultation at Sephora was relatively positive, mainly thanks to the consultants. They carefully listened to my requests and provided thoughtful recommendations. I especially appreciated the option to request a Ukrainian-speaking consultant, which made the process of selecting the right products much easier. The staff is truly knowledgeable about brands and quality skincare, which was important to me. I wanted recommendations that would benefit my skin rather than just popular or trendy brands.
However, there are some downsides. This particular Sephora often lacks a variety of products. For example, the selection of perfumes is very limited. If you’re looking to buy perfumes, this might not be the best location — a larger Sephora store would be a better choice. Additionally, some cosmetics are either out of stock or only available in their final units. The store itself is quite small, and the selection is noticeably more limited compared to other locations.

I was in Sephora today, in downtown Calgary. I really like this store and, of course, how much the consultant girl helped me today. It was obvious that the girl knows her job very well, I felt great and she helped me with all my questions. I am very happy with my purchases and the quality of the Sephora store products. I bought Charlotte Tilbury mascara and other products. I regret that I did not ask her name, she had African braids. Thank you very much for your help and professionalism. Attention to the client, help in choosing different products, goodwill and friendliness. Thank you very much, consultant girl with African braids.

The people there were nice when I asked them what color this one thing my wife wanted.
I still have no idea what color it was nor what the product is for but my wife liked it.
Kind of expensive though

If you go to this location, I hope you go on a day when Helen is working!! She is the best - she spent so much time with me discussing my concerns and showing me a bunch of great options, and took the time about what made them special to address my concerns. She was so sweet and helpful. If her manager sees this, she NEEDS a raise!!👏🏼❤️

The best service I have ever had at a Sephora, thank you Helen! Helen really listened to me and took the time to find me a product that would work for my fussy skin. I couldn't believe her knowledge and problem-solving skills, she is truly a chemist! Her recommendations were great, and I know that I will come back here next time in hopes she's available. Dude at the register was also super nice and funny (so sorry, didn't catch your name) and I couldn't believe how they really made me feel like one of their friends. Thank you, from someone who hates in-person shopping and was in a bad mood coming in but walked out feeling great <3

Someone needs to check with these workers, today at the register I was waiting in line and when I was at the front of the line one cashier was open but the worker just stood there and I assumed that I could have walked up and paid but the cashier was sighing the whole time and was speaking with the most outrageous attitude and using suggestive terms as well, then at the end she started getting mad that I came up without her waving me down and was basically yelling at me which ruined my day, I’ve had many experiences like this and something really needs to be done in that store.

Horrible service by one of the employees, I made a return which was lovely service by male at cash desk. Then went to browse the store for anything new and one associate cornered me when I said I'm just browsing. Then followed me until I was forced out the front door. This occurred at approx 12:30pm

I found out from employee at 130th Ave sephora that this person is the store manager who drove me out of the store. She wears a hajab and each time I come in I see her and she never smiles, and a different time during lunch hour rush, she yelled at me for looking at a product in the box because there was no sample. She should not be in customer service, speaking from someone who has worked 10 years in retail. I know who is wrong and not tolerated.
The store manager needs to be fired because I no longer can go to this location because of her, I feel so uncomfortable even walking by since I work in the downtown area. I feel she discriminate towards people of not her race. It's a shame how poorly run the store is.

The manager Dina was extremely rude to me as a customer. Later on, I saw her mocking and making fun of customers to another employee which I found to be rather disrespectful and also unprofessional behaviour from a manager. I've worked retail, so I understand the job can get tiring at times, but making fun of customers near the front of the store honestly made me feel belittled as a customer and it was kind of upsetting.
I usually love the Sephora experience but this has got to be the worst location I've ever been at. The workers are relatively unfriendly. I was looking at the other reviews and saw that there are other reviews of this manager being rude or disrespectful to customers, so this isn't even a one-off thing. As a customer, this was extremely disappointing and I hope something changes because this kind of behaviour to customers should not be tolerated.
