It's a good store. It's definitely a little overpriced but that not surprising considering it's the college bookstore. And the location is very convenient to grab some necessary things.

There are quite a few highly rated reviews. Obviously those people didn't phone the bookstore because usually the phone just rings continuously without being picked up to even route the caller to an answering machine. This is a recurring, multi-year problem but the organization doesn't see it as such because they haven't done anything about it.

I recently had some negative experiences with the book store at SAIT. I previously purchased both 2nd and 3rd year modules for gas fitter and was mislead with return policies being returnable if unopened. Now I am being told 7 days after course starts which can predate the time it’s purchased. I may have left my receipt there or thrown it out, so learn from my mistake and only buy if you absolutely need it. I understand a profit needs to be made but nothing was done for my situation. A discount towards books I need or a code book or a partial refund nothing. I was simply told we can’t do anything for you. A lot of people are going through tough times and this level of customer service doesn’t help. I would advise you only buy what you need at the very moment you need it, I have attended classes that don’t even require modules in my 6+ years I’ve attended SAIT courses. And for a material that costs them next to nothing to print I would think some consideration would be warranted and at least offer some sort of aid in the situation.

Does not honor Canadian consumer protection laws. Wrong shelf price are not not corrected nor discounted. Over price in exchange of convenience but still feel like they are taking advantage of young ignorance.Staff is friendly and helpful.

Merch is decently nice, but the coffee mugs have painted logos which end up rubbing off after a few runs in the dishwasher. Thought it was a one off so I went and bought more when I was in the city, and while there I was told they’re regular mugs that are dishwasher safe. Only for it to happen to my new ones that were only a couple months old. Not impressed.After the second time it happened I tried calling to ask if they’re okay to go in the dishwasher and got no help on the phone. Was told “they should be fine” and a long awkward silence. Thanks!

Purchased a sweater for my husband approx two months ago and didn’t actually give him the sweater until his birthday yesterday (proactive hah). This was when we noticed the draw strings had some damage. I contacted the book store and the book store manager was super helpful and quick to respond. They immediately offered to send us a replacement and sent out the new sweater the same day.I had such a positive experience I will be sure to purchase some more SAIT swag for that reason alone.Thank you !

I purchased a book with them and I’m glad I did since they were very accommodating. They replied promptly to my emails and immediately catered my needs. Aside from having quality books, their service is commendable. Thank you, SAIT Bookstore.

I was contacting the bookstore to return books that I didn't need. Mr. Kozlowski was in contact with me for some time via e-mail (we couldn't meet in person due to my workload first and the pandemic restrictions then) and when I arrived to the store he personally met me and arranged a return immediately. I spent like 5-10 minutes there and my issue was solved. It is hard to overestimate my satisfaction from my experience with SAIT bookstor staff and Thorsten Kozlowski personally

The bookstore at SAIT is amazing, and the staff are wonderful and super helpful. The store manager, Thorsten Koslowski, went above and beyond in helping me with my purchase. I asked about potentially customizing an item, and he found one for me that was in storage.The selection of items in the physical store is much better than on the website, and I highly recommended visiting in person if you have the opportunity.Google Maps isn't the best way to find the store, but its a good start. Once you get to SAIT, I would recommended using the campus map to find the bookstore in building M.

Made a rookie mistake and bought the wrong textbook. Emailed the bookstore and the response was within 5 minutes and they refunded my book. Great service! Thank you!

I have recieved very rude customer service by the older lady that works there. I ordered my books weeks ahead of time. When i recieved them there were multiple errors including 2 books that wernt mine and i was missing 2 others. When approached about this i was immediatley told that it was completly my fault before she even checked the system. I spoke to my instructor who informed me that they have mismanged multiple other students orders.You are apart of a world renowned institution. But it really doesnt seem like it. This is unacceptable. Our instructor may have to change the coarse due to the bookstores mistakes.
