The store was clean, well organized, and not busy when we were there... The line at the till was short, and several tills were open at that time.

I have a complaint about safeway northgate, one named Tina. R
She is mean and talk in a way to the customer that's non of her business, we buy from this location for years.
And also we go to different location. But the northgate location but this one Tina. R she is mean, she is not allowed to talk to me like that, I am customer I go to buy and go.
But this cashier is very bad and mean and I can reply the same way she talk to me but I have a good manner, I don't talk to people like that.
She sometimes says something in purpose, to bother and annoy you.
She has to know this is business shop. It's Not her business to tell people how many times you buy from here, the way she is talking is mean its like she doesnt want people to come. its not her busniess. We are not iterested coming to your shop. We dont come here to see her. we pay lots, she is bad and rude she's not allowed to talk to me like that, I will never go to the safeway northgate location ever again, you are loser, and shut your mouth, before you have this job go learn how you talk to other people shame on you.
The mostly cashier at this location are bad and rude.

What is there to say. It's a fairly Safeway. Perhaps a slightly better international foods section than some others in the city? Always seems to be well stocked. Also has a Starbucks in it.

Stepped in today to get a roasted chicken for dinner. The 2 young ladies were so lovely. Nice smiles and great service! Thank you ladies for making my dinner lol

It’s a fairly aged Safeway looking a bit dim but it does get the job done. The chicken dinner meal there is great. Nice staff, fine grocery store. There is also a mini Starbucks inside.
