I went in to this store today and was greeted by Bianca. She went on to help me find what I needed for my daughter. She also was so kind and friendly to my daughter who just started walking and engaged with her while I got the two things I needed as the store was empty when I was there. As I was finishing up another employee named Krista came in and was very friendly as well. It was so nice going in to a store and having positive interactions and help.

My partner and I were helped by Kirsten. She was absolutely beaming from ear to ear despite the heat in the mall and the time of day - as a retail worker myself I was super impressed and very happy that she was helping us. All of the staff were friendly, and Kirsten helped my partner find a pair of Roots shorts she was looking for. She was also repping a cute shirt from a line of clothes that were on sale for 30% off - we were in a rush so we didn't get anything else, but she is definitely an example of how to do customer service right. Thank you so much!

I want to share an amazing experience I had at the store over Mother's Day. My daughter and I came in looking for matching outfits for her and her mother as a gift for Mother's Day. We really wanted to find matching outfits for them to wear over the day's activities, and if you have ever tried to do this, you will know that it is no easy feat to achieve.
We had been to five other stores in the city, and it occurred to me that roots would likely have some matching gear for both women and children.
We drove out of our way to come to Market Mall with fleating hopes. Once we arrived we were greeted by the two girls working there. I told them our mission, and they instantly lept into action.
The one girl assured us she was going to make this work. After finding 2 matching shirts, two matching hoodies, and matching bottoms she noticed there was a slight difference with the kids pants, they didn't have "ROOTS" printed across the butt like the women's one. She told us she was sure she could figure this out, and she went into the back, 10+ minutes later she came out looking fairly flushed and maybe a bit sweaty, but smiling and proud because she had successfully found the matching pair of pants hidden somewhere in the back! She didn't give up, and I could see she had moved things to find it.
My daughter and her mom had the most amazing Mother's Day, and they couldn't have been more excited about wearing matching outfits. When she opened the gift, she couldn't believe that we had pulled it off because it's been something we've been trying to do for a while for them.
I wish I knew their names, especially the girl who went in the back determined to make this work and pulled it off. I hope you see this, i hope you know you made Mother's Day extremely special for our family and I have some amazing pictures of the happiest mother/daughter matchy/matchy girls you've ever seen.
Roots has really great quality clothes, but you have some amazing quality staff as well!

The worst store staff ever. Rude, inconsiderate and they dress like hoodie gangsters. The so call team lead wore a hoodie that dropped down to his eyes. This person looked very intimidating and wouldn't look at you in the eye.In addition my wife was taking back a Roots sweat that was a Christmas gift because it was too big. All the tags were still on it and it was purchased less than 10 days ago.This gangster "team lead" accused my wife of intentionally damaging the hoodie. (he said there was a stain but we couldn't see) and wouldn't take it back. We even had the Christmas gift receipt.Don't go there. There staff is very accusatory.

Horrible experience from the so called Assistant manager. Very disrespectful and hostile when I returned a bag purchased online. Need training in customer service!

When I came to this store looking for pants they had 3 employees working. One was helping another customer, but the other 2 just stared at me and kept talking to each other. On my way out the employee who had been helping someone else came up and asked if I needed help finding anything. Why have 3 employees if only one is going to do their job? The other 2 kept talking the whole time and didn't even acknowledge me at all.

Great Employees! A lovely lady named Jill/Gill/Juliet (don't. quite remember sorry )helped us, greeted us with a smile and positive attitude. She was so helpful with sizes and didn't seem bothered at all with all our size requests and design switches. She helped me find the perfect set and a set for my younger brother as well. We have been wearing our new sweat sets for about a month now my little brother loves his, and I love mine. Although the sweat pants did get some of those little friction fluffies in-between the thighs which sucks most of the time for the plus size ladies. They haven't ripped yet but the material has thinned in the area but the pants are still cozy as well as the hoodie. Overall customer service 5/5 and clothes 4/5. Did I mention I got a discount with my SPC card? Added Bonus!
