I was lucky enough to speak with the owner and he gave me some fantastic advice to help me with the position I was in with my volvo. An absolute Gentleman and I'm sure he will treat everyone with the same kindness he used with me.

I had brought in my 2006 volvo c70 into Mr V. I had a specific reason why I had brought the car in as I had battery and charging issues with the car. As i mentioned to the mechanics both the battery and the alternator was replaced within the past two years. Surprisingly enough "after there “tests “they advied me to replace the alternator and battery with them in which i did. My question is why did they not perform a parasitic test to look for a draw. Which was obviously happening before. On top of that they also told me to replace about $2,000 worth of labour and parts which seemed fair.
After I called to tell them that the same issue kept happening. They told me that they will charge me there shop rate to look back at it.
That informed me at least out of assumption that these guys just want your money , based off of what happened to me. Here’s the report too

I wanna give a big shoutout to my entire experience here at Mr. V plus. I had an absolutely amazing experience dealing with their team. I had a couple thousand dollars of work done here, it was flawless, communication was excellent, and transparency and honestly was superb. I heavily recommend taking your Volvo here for service, they take care of you!

Rude and dishonest Thousands $$$ spent here ! Money pinching ! Will take you for a ride! Owner is totally off base and rude. Danny is a great asset to this company! About the only thing.

I couldn't be more pleased with the repair work done on our 2005 Volvo V50. We were in Calgary on a quick trip and lost a belt. While having the car towed to the shop, the tow truck hit something on the road and cracked the oil pan. We needed to get back to Saskatoon. Robert and his mechanics had the belts replaced and oil pan replaced. While repairing that damage they discovered the control arms were needing replacement. They completed these repairs quickly and professionally. Thank you to. the boys at Mr. V for getting our 20 year old car back on the road so quickly.

Mr. Volvo - Trust worthy service you can count on! Over the years Ervin and his experienced team have saved me money and time on my vehicle services. I have a GM but bring my vehicle here for oil changes, tires, windshield repair & general maintenance. I recommend the shop!

Just awesome! If you have a Volvo, this is the place you want to go! Don‘t waste your time and money for other mechanics, who are not specialized in repairing a Volvo. Everybody is very passionate about fixing your car. I never felt such helpfulness after entering a car mechanic. I came from Banff and every km was worth it.

I've been coming to Mr. Volvo for years, and time after time, I've always been treated with great respect and felt valued. Many times, I've needed my car to be ready by a certain time, and they've always managed to get the job done! Some of the nicest people I've ever met. This isn't your average mechanic; this place is filled with great people and great workers! I will definitely be coming back for years to come. The owner is also a pretty cool guy

After sitting for over 2 years it was time for some major work on our 2002 XC-70 AWD. They provided estimate, talked us through the repairs, and completed the work in a timely manner. It has been serviced it here historically and each time we have observed a fair and reasonable business.

Diagnosed a couple of issues with my S60 T6. Repairs we quoted and parts ordered so re-booked when parts arrived. Job was completed quicker than quoted so my bill was significantly less than what I was expecting! The technician was very experienced with the vehicle and was able to do the repairs under the "book" time. Excellent value! Thanks again Mr V+!

If I can give 0 stars I would.The Owner Ervin.. “Mr.Volvo” is the rudest and most degrading owner to deal with. I dropped off my car because of the reviews. Do not even bother coming here!!!!I wanted to have my coolant checked for my Volvo xc90.. it was not leaking and picked it up to today with severe leaking and topped up twice. Told us my Car is trash and need to get rid of it and that Volvo Royal Oak dealership also broke my car… when they have never.He was yelling at me and screaming on the phone when I was trying to understand what happened. The he hung up on my face!!!!Do not come here. So unprofessional. I will report to the business bureau for such humiliating and degrading service.Edit: to add a comment to the reply, you kept asking me and harassing me for work done on my car, you saw a quote of list of things and used it against me.Volvo dealerships are gold stars compared to your service and disrespect. Learn how to speak to customers and stop degrading them.I came to you for a second opinion as you said you have done this for 40 years and are better than Volvo dealerships.There was no misunderstanding, you yelled at me and my husband on the phone and told us our car is not worth a penny to fix and to dumpIt.. even try sell in an auction. What kind of advise is this???!I specifically came to check the coolant and when I called you after picking up my car, you admit and said you didn’t touch anything just looked at it and replaced the sensor that we bought from Volvo.What did I pay for then If you didn’t check the coolant?????!You are a scam and full of hate, specifically Ervin and not the front staff.
