I generally have never liked wine; however I found a particularly good wine at wine bar in Calgary. I found out that only metrovino stocks it. So I gave them a call to try and get a bottle and find out what I liked about it. Veronika was so good to help me find out exactly which wine I had and recommend others that I might like. Incredibly patient and went above and beyond. I also love the little post it notes added to the bottles for recommendations. …. You are also correct the dragon stone was amazing :)

We attended a private wine tasting and everything was perfect: the wine selection, the girls serving the wine were very friendly and attentive, and the ambiance was amazing. I brought home a few bottles of the labels they were offering during the tasting to enjoy at home. Thanks, guys. This is how great customer service works :)

These guys are more than amazing! I had a private wine tasting for 40 guests and the service was absolutely impeccable: careful selection of wine, delicious charcuterie board and the staff were more than friendly, they were part of our event! I will definitely go back to grab more wine (their selection is amazing) and plan future events for sure. 100% of the guest were amazed with the environment. Huge thanks to Eva who was above and beyond to make sure we had a smooth event.

A must stop for any wine enjoyer passing through or visiting Calgary. Exceptional collection, highly knowledgeable and eager staff, a warm and inviting interior, and an owner who is extremely thoughtful in their curation.
When given the name of an obscure and specific wine, a staff member went off to do some research and presented us with a wine that would have a similar drinking experience. 'it won't be the same, but as to the key notes of what you enjoyed about the other wine, it should rank alongside it'. And it certainly did! We loved it.
We will absolutely visit again next time we pass through Calgary!

Must have been a bad day for staff because service here was disastrous. Very rude with inappropriate use of words to my partner who was trying to build industry connections. Will not come back and will not recommend to our clients.

An absolute must go for any wine enthusiast/educational drinker.Isaiah matched my enthusiasm, knowledgable and was even able to reccomend something cool I've never heard of!Unpretentious, funky, with a great selection (most of which they import themselves).

Was recommended MFW by a friend and her enthusiasm for this establishment couldn’t have been more accurate. The selection was amazing, the service and friendliness of the staff was next level. Craig walked me through the store layout as well as gave me many knowledgeable recommendations. Cannot wait to visit Calg again and go back for more ????.

Going to Metrovino is always a great time. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. I learn something new every time stop by. Shoutouts to Eva! She took my friend and I through a wine journey that was more friendly and helpful than some wines classes I’ve taken in the past. Ended up leaving with 4 bottles and 0 regrets ?. Thanks so much!

Great wine store with a lot of interesting wines. We bought ourselves a amazingly surprising wine which is very hard to find elsewhere. The advice we had at the store was on-point and excellent.
