Purchased some items online and came to exchange. They told me I could not do this even though the receipt explicitly said that sale items could be exchanged. Disgusting customer service - they told me it wasn't their problem and that I could go figure it out with customer service myself!!!

The Chinook Mall MAC Store has gone downhill quickly. It used to offer friendly service and expertise. Now, it’s just frowns and shrugs.I sure miss the Nordstrom’s MAC section.

Weird experience. The m.u.a, Kaitlyn? I think that was what her necklace said, did not like that I thought the lipstick looked a bit orange on my complexion, almost offended at my suggestion? Also, they were helping another customer when I went to checkout, so we chatted for a sec, and she dismissed me to wait for her up front? Kindly, another associate began to help me with that process, but the original m.u.a also seemed offended that this was happening. The checkout process was just as uncomfortable. Even my asking for a make up wipe seemed not acceptable to her— not usually on my radar to feel bad after leaving from MAC but today was weird. I will not choose said m.u.a to help me again.

My go to store. Recently Hanna assisted me and Mom on getting the right lipshade. Always friendly and professsional staff. Will come back for more.

I went to MAC today to look for a pink/nude lipstick and Cecily went above and beyond. She was respectful, kind, welcoming, and helped me find exactly what I was looking for! She was honest when a colour would look nice and when she felt something else would look better. I had an absolutely wonderful experience and I will definitely be coming back to the Chinook store and see Cecily. I was beyond impressed and very grateful for Cecily's knowledge and kindness.

Worst customer service ever.I am guessing if I was a white woman they would have given me the time of day. Walked in and was completely ignored, knew what I wanted, and I did the greeting to them… then I said I knew what I wanted and they ignored me and rolled their eyes and did not help me so I walked right out and ended up going to a different MAC elsewhere.

Got the most perfect lipstick shade match from Dan last week, I’ve worn it every day since! Best service I’ve ever received in any cosmetics store!! Most pleasurable and respectful customer service experience 10/10!!! They were so patient with my pickiness definitely deserves a raise???

Got my eyelashes done by Alana/Alysha in November and was very happy. She was very caring and friendly and went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied. Would have left review sooner but life happens and I’m doing it now. Will definitely return for next eyelash appointment.

I’m a long time mac customer but today I have the BEST employee help me, Dannica was amazing! She is very attentive, knowledgeable and friendly! She searched for multiple items for me and had great recommendations! This girl really knows her stuff! Thank you Dannica :)

I rocked into MAC on Sat Oct 8 around 11 AM looking like a hot mess after discovering someone smashed into my car. Tahany & Alisha were compassionate and patient (I was admittedly all over the place), they took their time to help me find and test the products I needed. There was no judgement, no rushing, just helpful advice, amazing service and some pretty neat chats in between. They certainly went above and beyond and for that I am incredibly grateful.Ps-The products they helped me pick out have addressed the issues I've been struggling with FOR AGES (separation of product, texture and coverage). 100% will return, and I hope I get to run into them again.
