I Noticed that the tap in the womens washroom was broken and water was running and it wouldn't shut off. I reported to customer service because it's such a waste of OUR water. With the amount of "new comers" moving to the city the water system is already strained. DO BETTER RONA AND GET A PLUMBER IN TO FIX IT!

With this many employees working you'd think it'd be easy to get help to find what you're looking for..but nope! You'll have to spend 20 minutes to hunt someone down who knows where anything is.
Oh and they only carry Large gloves. In every brand and every type. Someone might want to let them know that women work in the trades too like c'mon.

First time out there and it was a pretty great experience. Well laid out with good variety in stock. The store was quiet, but lots of friendly staff around who were super helpful.

I recently had a very frustrating experience with Rona regarding a return as a contractor. After purchasing a significant amount of materials for a project, I needed to return an item, only to be met with poor customer service and an unwillingness to process the return. As a contractor who frequently purchases in bulk, flexibility and understanding with returns are critical for maintaining smooth operations. Unfortunately, Rona fell short.
Despite providing all the necessary documentation and being within what I believed was a reasonable timeframe, Rona refused to honor the return, giving me the runaround and wasting a lot of my time. This kind of rigid policy and lack of support shows that Rona doesn’t seem to care about maintaining good business relationships, especially with professionals in the industry.
I will be reconsidering where I do my purchasing for future projects and would encourage other contractors to think twice before relying on Rona for large-scale orders. Customer service and understanding go a long way, and Rona did not deliver. Very disappointing.

I'm normally a big fan of Rona, and will continue to be using their services. I just wanted to remind people to be aware when buying things like mulch and soil. I also know this problem likely isn't directly under Rona's control.
I was in a rush and bought 4 bags of CIL Decorative Bark Nuggets (56L) Many of them had holes and were clearly spilling everywhere, but I did my best to grab the least damaged ones. The next day when I went to use them, I was disappointed to see that some had almost half as much mulch than some of the other bags. I expected some variation, but the differences seemed worthy of a price reduction, at the very least. So just keep your eyes open!

Subject: Exceptional Service from Associate Mandeep (Five Stars for her & Zero Stars for Customer Service Desk Employees including Fatima and others) – A Standout Amidst Poor Customer Service:
I am writing to highlight the exceptional service I received from Associate Mandeep during my recent visit to your Store. Mandeep's proactive approach and genuine concern for my needs stood out in stark contrast to the lackluster service provided by her colleagues.
Unlike other associates who seemed intent on ignoring customers with genuine problems, Mandeep actually came to me and asked if I needed help. This simple yet powerful gesture made all the difference. While the rest of the team appeared to be avoiding eye contact and sidestepping responsibility, Mandeep was focused on finding solutions and making sure I was taken care of.
Unfortunately, my experience with the other associates, particularly Fatima, was quite the opposite. Fatima’s service was terrible; it was clear that she was more interested in getting me out of the store than in finding the right solution to my problem. Her dismissive attitude and unwillingness to help left a lasting negative impression, and it’s disappointing that such behavior is tolerated in a customer service role.
In contrast, Mandeep's willingness to assist and her ability to find ways to say "yes" rather than turning me away is something that I deeply appreciate. It’s disheartening to observe that Mandeep’s approach is the exception, as the overall customer service experience with other associates was, quite frankly, the worst I’ve encountered. Most of them seemed more interested in avoiding problems than in solving them, which is a shame for a service-oriented business.
Mandeep's actions not only resolved my immediate concerns but also restored some of my faith in your brand. It’s crucial that her dedication to customer care is recognized and that her colleagues, especially Fatima, are encouraged to follow her example. If more associates embodied Mandeep's level of commitment, your customer service would undoubtedly improve, and customer loyalty would grow stronger.
Thank you, Mandeep, for your exemplary service. You are a true asset to the team, and I hope your efforts will inspire a much-needed change in the overall customer service experience.

My boyfriend went there today there was lady who doesn’t know anything like literally no knowledge of the product and she doesn’t even know how to talk with customers.. when my boyfriend asked about some tool detail she scanned and said we don't have it , instead of giving him a proper answer she said this….after that when we asked her where else we can find this tool she's
Pointing out to the other rona instead of giving proper address when we asked her again she said RONA CANADA SINCE soo soo time and then the other indian guy interrupted coz he got what we were actually asking .

Richard at the order desk was amazing. We were able to navigate through payment solution together. But the aisle help was a terrible experience! For over 20 minutes at least while I was searching for some nosing and trim, lady was on a video call laughing and talking Punjabi and her friend and co-worker kept on standing there pretending to work. I had to ask several times for help and each time he would Retreat back to the corner pretending to work while she stayed on her video call. I wasted far more time then I needed to to pick up two pieces of material. Very disappointing!

Horrible service! If I could give zero stars I would. I went for an item that said it had 12 in stock drove a long distance. Couldn't find item customer service lady was useless nobody from department even showed up. Explanation was oh it must be sold out. I will not return and I will be tell all my friends. Also there are no cashier's and I don't want to become a temp rona employee so I can spend my money. Next time I will be shopping online or at there competitor.
