I was ignored at the takeout counter. I asked the concierge if I could get assistance, but he told me to just get back in line. I emailed Kinjo about the incident but didn't hear back. I would avoid this place if you don't like being disrespected.

The platters during the special celebration days are good value. The regular express items are fine.

The word express just means you won't get anything fresh. It's already made and they will come with your order either microwaved or cold. I was not impressed by the quality of food. While dining alone I was handed my food in less then 5 min. Cold unagi. Overly hot saki. Sushi rolls that have hard rice and falling apart. Onugiri hard. Cold. Bland. Absolutely no meat.... Go here if you want the express version of sushi. They will give you old rice and old pre made hours ago sushi. Service from my specific server (not the guy walking around like a body builder pointing at things) was amazing. I'll give a 2 star. Don't recommend.Parking: Many

It's okay for an express stop, but the freshness of any of the ready made products severely depend upon the time you visit.Good variety but the quality can be lacking.Staff are very friendly. Had an experience where the taste of to go fried chicken just tasted rancid couldn't get past the first bite.Turned me off from visiting again.

Very unhappy. Gyoza were ice cold, rolls were obviously not fresh, it took 75 minutes after quoting me 20-30 min, and the other hot items (bento box) all looked like the previous days left overs and were obviously not made to order.Of the 6 things we ordered there was only 1 that I wouldn't have sent back had we been dining in.Also, skip the dishes delivered for them and would not offer an acceptable refund. They only offered 50% of the items I complained about.Lots of other great sushi places in calgary so I'll be taking my business there from now on.

Was so excited or the re-opening. Ordered take out and they stopped giving fresh wasabi with take out but the most disgusting packets of wasabi that are pretty much green horseradish. Ordered extra ginger and only got three pieces total in one container (thats where you save the money folks, chinsey with the ginger). The sashimi tasted old but we did order late. Midori roll was great. This place was very reliable pre closing for renos but this was strike one for sure hopefully its just a new opening accident.

Same as the previous review from Paul D. They are not giving those wasabi in plastic containers for takeout anymore, but only wasabi packets. Those wasabi packets lack the wasabi taste, and are very spicy. More like hot sauce than wasabi. Thumbs down for those wasabi packets.
