Update Oct 2024: I bought winter tires again here. Excellent and efficient service, competitive prices, great communication. They installed the tires on my winter rims too. Then they swapped the summer wheels/tires for the winter ones.
I have bought winter tires from Ben in the past and recently he did a PPI for a car I was selling. Great service, efficient, honest, great prices. I would use his services any time.

Top notch friendly and extremely trustworthy service from Brian and the team! I had an oil change done at one of those drive through shops and was told that I had a major leak in my rear differential. I was told to see mechanic right away so I found Joyride which is close to my house. Brian agreed to take a look at a moments notice....they spent about an hour inspecting checking seals etc. They did see evidence of a leak but nothing wrong except for a loose drain plug and clogged vent. They cleaned it all up and shampooed it down and told me to come back after a few days to see if they can isolate the leak. After taking it back they found no leaks and I was only charged for a little bit of labour. Will return with next mechanical issue.

Always great service and excellent communication. Fair pricing and accurate quotes with no surprises. The Varsity community here in Calgary are lucky to have this excellent shop so close at hand. However I would come from anywhere in the city to this shop. I trust them and they do great work.

Bought tires at a competitive price, and the work was completed as booked. The bonus was the provision of an additional service required in the most economical way as my car has over 300K kms. They saved me $$!

Brought my truck into this shop, engine was shot. Brian and his wicked crew at joyride got it up and running better then when I bought the thing. Within a time frame that was shorter than expected. I’ve unfortunately dealt with a few shops in the last while and can honestly say out of them all, I’d only bring it back to Joyride, I’m beyond satisfied.

I took my vehicle in for an inspection as I was going on a long road trip over the Coquihalla. They found nothing wrong except the tires I had bought one and a half year earlier were worn out. They rotated them at what point two lugs came loose and I had to tow her to the shop. The tires should have not been rotated. One tire had no tread left. I brought in all weather tires that I had at home and paid to have them mounted. I kept complaining about a rubbing noise. They gave me all sorts of explanations basically saying that there was nothing wrong. On my road trip, the brakes heated. I had no brakes in the front and the callipers were seizing in the front and in the back (they had just done the brakes in the back after I insisted). Hence the rubbing that I was complaining about. The left front tow was out +33 (Brian had said that when they looked the alignment was fine) and needless to say that on my trip I had to look for a shop to take care of my brakes not to mention the wasted money doing useless work that did not solve my problems. Too bad. They used to be good and reliable but not any more.
