DO NOT take your car to the car wash here.
I have a brand new car that unfortunately got super dirty in the parkade of my apartment, took it for a car wash yesterday and now there are scratches all over; I can tell it’s from the bristles. I’m so upset, I’ve never had an issue with this place with respect to getting gas but DO NOT use the car wash unless you want your car scratched all over.

I recently visited Chevron Gas Station, downtown location on 14th st and 12th ave sw and had a pleasant experience. The station was clean and well-maintained, with ample lighting and a safe atmosphere. The fuel prices were competitive, which is always a plus. The pumps were in good working condition and easy to use, with clear instructions.
The convenience store was well-stocked with a wide variety of snacks, drinks, and essential items. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing quick service despite the busy time of day. The restrooms were surprisingly clean for a gas station, which I really appreciated.
Overall, this gas station exceeded my expectations. It's a reliable stop for fuel and essentials, and I will definitely be returning in the future. Highly recommended!

always a toss up if the doors will be locked or not without anyone around mid day, maybe i’m just going every time someone is in the washroom or something, strange and annoying

I always go there to purchase stuff, the lady always welcoming, friendly, and looking after what I need to buy. Pumps are in great condition, always clean, and the car wash always functioning!

First of all, I saw the review about the locked store at night. I get that. While it’s very very annoying that so many 24 hour stores are like that in Calgary now, I also understand that it’s for the safety of the staff with the high crime rate these days. An annoyance traded for staff members safety. I’ll make that trade.
That said, I live pretty close to this particular store, I think it’s a family run business and the young lady who serves me 9 times out of 10 seems always to be happy. The store is always clean (including the bathrooms) and well stocked. (More so then it was when it was still a husky). And the pumps are always in good working order. I personally have a choice of 3 or 4 diffeeent stores close to my building and almost exclusively visit this one because of the mood and customer service.
