I shopped in the Zellers part of the store, nostalgia dontcha know lol. I found plenty of deals and discounts, it was also Bay Day so I made out like a bandit.
My only complaint would be that a tag was missed on one of the items, so I set off the (very loud) alarm as I left. Drawing many looks from passerby (Saturday at Chinook Centre) I seemed to wait an eternity for staff to come and check my bag and receipt. Obviously it was an honest mistake, I just think someone should have come to help and check everything much quicker, I was actively looking and saw staff, but they ignored both me and the alarm.

The whole area isn't work visiting for 2024 and maybe 2025 too. Parking is ludicrous, can't drive to the lake and busses are infrequent and unreliable. It's a lot of messing around for little reward. I'd go hike elsewhere

I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Jill while shopping for perfume on October 17th. I’ve never encountered someone so kind, patient, and professional! Although I’m not typically a big fan of shopping at Hudson’s, Jill completely changed my experience. Her knowledge of perfumes was impressive, and her warm, friendly attitude made the entire visit delightful. It was a joy chatting with her, and thanks to the exceptional customer service I received, I’ll definitely be coming back! Thank you, Jill, for making my day and turning my shopping experience into a very delightful one

This store was awful, no associates, no music!!!, no escalators.
Terrible customer service.
I was looking for a single associate for assistance to find a size but there was no one.
who ever is in charge of this store should be ashamed.

I left a Watch to clean inside because it has a little steam and took 5 weeks and they cleaned but my watch came back broke, not working. They did not charge me for the service, thats why I gave an extra star, but they did not do anything to fix it. If I needed to fix it would cost another $130,00 to $150,00. Not fair.

Furnuture department wont honour warranty items, buyer beware, save all reciepts and emails, and still they will avoid your calls, emails and onsight visits.

Buyers Beware in the Furniture Section
My husband and I purchased a new couch in August of last year and initially had a great experience, thanks to Eddie’s excellent service. However, our excitement was short-lived. Just a month after buying the couch, we noticed significant issues—the fabric was pulling, and the quality was not holding up as expected.
We were told that new slipcovers would be provided, but unfortunately, that never happened. We also bought a warranty, thinking we were covered, but were disappointed to learn that it wouldn’t apply to this issue. Since then, we’ve been sent on a frustrating loop between the warranty service, the manufacturer, and back to the store. We’ve visited the store twice, hoping for some resolution, but the managers were unwilling to help. Paula, an employee, called us, but even with the manager speaking in the background, nothing was done to assist us. They claimed they couldn’t help because the original employee, Eddie, no longer works there.
This is the first time I’ve felt compelled to write a negative review. It’s sad and disappointing that no one wants to take responsibility or help us with this situation. We were really hoping for a better outcome.
