I called into HomeSense Heritage Drive (Calgary, AB) on September 16, 2024 to inquire about an item. I spoke with Ashley. I will begin by saying how dismissive, rude, and passive she was. This individual has no place in customer service. I’ve always enjoyed shopping at Homesense, mainly for how pleasant and helpful the staff are. However, my experience with Ashley has completely turned me away from this store. Note to Ashley: If you are not willing to perform in one of the key areas of retail, it’s best you find a different job that requires zero human interaction. And please, being lazy and having a sense of entitlement will not get you anywhere in life. Thanks for absolutely nothing.

Absolutely the worst customer service of any homesense store I have ever visited!! I work for a large home staging company and we shop from all of the homesense stores throughout the city quite often and have never had a positive experience at this location. We are treated as an inconvenience to the employees for making large purchases or asking to do a paid hold. I will not be returning to this location again. I recommend visiting the sunridge or new east hills location because they always go above and beyond!!

The worst shopping experience. It was my first time at this Homesense store. When it was my turn, the cashier called me over without any expression on her face. She remained expressionless throughout when my child was playing with the cart. After paying, there was no polite farewell or reminder not to take the cart outside—just rudeness. I even wondered if I was still in Canada. I've never encountered such poor service. I will never come to this store again. How can a staff member have such an attitude? Who does she think she is!

My favourite HomeSense in Calgary with beautiful and reasonably priced items.
But what impressed me most is the nice people working here. Shout out to Sam and Aryan, you both are amazing ❤️

I was there today willing to buy a set of new chairs for my dinning but there were only 2 of certain style we liked, so I asked if they could look at other locations if they had any left so I could go get them, and happens that they can't call, neither look for inventory at all. So I called myself another location and they said they cannot check nor tell me if they have the chairs or not. Really? Don't you want to make sales? Very poor customer service, not even trying to help someone who was willing to buy something. I can't understand how they rather prefer to lose a sale than making a phone call or checking inventory. What's the purpose of having multiple stores if you can't let customers know if they have a product or not. Isn't the point of a store actually selling stuff away?
