Update: visited today and got the haircut from Jas. She’s amazing and super knowledgeable! Will come back again! This is my go to location at this point.

Lana is super knowledgeable about hair care and hair styles. She was very quick to identify the damage and make sure that the length she wanted to cut was ok with me.
I really enjoyed talking to her today. She is very sweet, patient and kind. I left with well trimmed, healthier looking hair.
I’ll be back and will make sure to go to Lana from now on.

I have been here three times so far, twice with the same stylist and honestly I love it. I'm used to at home cuts and this isn't much different since I only get blunt cuts. I've been struggling with thinning ends and split ends but even with a couple regular visits my hair feels thicker and healthier. The stylists make just the right amount of small talk and definitely know what they're doing. It's absolutely perfect for what I want plus it's pretty cheap (don't forget to tip!). 100% recommend if you need to freshen your look!

I went in for a shampoo/condition and blow dry service. When I left the sink and sat down in the chair 3/4 of my (just past shoulder length) hair was in a very tight knotted mess. The stylist (and manager at this location) refused to acknowledge that her washing technique caused the issue. She proceeded to gaslight me, saying my processed hair was the problem, and even claimed that I came in with my hair like that. After 45 minutes of stabbing the clump with a comb and pin and actively ripping my hair trying to detangle it she called someone else to come in and fix it. That man was successful in removing the rats nest but in doing so also removed a large clump of hair. I’ve never experienced a professional so determined to not admit fault or take any accountability whatsoever. Do not visit this establishment for any reason.

Maybe a place for a very basic child’s cut? But I agree with the other reviews of getting a stylist who kept chopping and trying to layer my thin hair - I stopped the cut and asked why it was so choppy and uneven. It looked like a two year old took scissors to my hair ?I immediately went straight to Hedkandi and Mikaela fixed what Great Clips broke. Won’t return here.

My fiance just went here to get his hair cut, he just came home through the door. he has longer layers with a type of curtain bang. they completely took the layers out of his hair on the back and basically made it a long cut on top. That is not his hair cut at ALL. the only person here who has never messed his hair up was a female, and she was not there today. I am so utterly upset because he came into this place and said he just wanted a slight trim and to keep the layers. he has 0 layers on the back side of his head. I dont know how long it will take for him to grow it out and find a different person to cut his hair. He is leaving the country in 6 days and wanted a nice hair cut and he got nothing that he asked for.

Today on July 27, I booked online appointment to get my haircut. I walked in the front door and there was my favourite hairstylist. kritika but unfortunately for me, she let me know that her last day working in the southwest she's moving to the south east store. It's like somebody let the air out of my balloon getting the new. I just want to say what an incredible employee you have incredible hairstylist with awesome personality. She's gonna be so missed, especially by me, but don't be surprised. I find out which store she is working i just might surprise her and stop in for a haircut, thank you Kritika wish you and your family all the best in the future , George T lifetime customer .

Totally disappointed and worried about my hairstyle now. First of all, the hairstylist has no patience and never listens to your needs properly. All you can hear is “I’m blending your hair”. When you raise your concerns in the middle of the haircut, she will tell you that it’s going to be fine in the end. The more she tries to fix your hair, the more worse it gets. In the end you will have to give up because there’s no point in arguing with someone who doesn’t understand your needs.
Stylist: She has absolutely no idea about hair styling. No matter how many times you point out the imperfections, she kept saying it is good and that’s how it should be. Come on, are you serious???

I wait a long time to cut my hair because haircuts are so expensive. Whenever I get the chance, I go to Great Clips, because not only are they less than $50, I find I like my hair cut more than when I spend $80 somewhere else.Case and point, in January I got my haircut for $85 somewhere else, and was okay with it, but I didn't fully like it. Yesterday I went to Great Clips, served by Hannah. I love my haircut, she was able to do exactly what I was wanting and it's amazing and I love it.I will need to hunt her down the next time I want to get my hair cut.Never have a bad experience at Beltline Great Clips.

They dont have the slightest clue about hair styles and get mad and blame you when you point something out repeatedly saying there's nothing wrong with the haircut. When I asked her to fix the fade she got mad, went way shorter and tl;dr gave me the worst haircut I've ever had and messed up my hair for the next bit. This location doesn’t follow the order of people in line form the app. They go by who enters first. They promote checking in online. But they don’t follow it. Good luck. One person entered before me but was behind me in line on the app. That’s not how this works. Maybe this location needs further training on what reservation means.

"The Indian lady who cut my hair at the salon was exceptionally unprofessional and seemed utterly unfamiliar with hairstyles. It was undeniably one of the worst haircuts I've ever experienced, and I wouldn't recommend her services to anyone."

Refused to answer telephone and their mailbox was full all morning. Went in person to ask for a correction and the manager refused even though the haircut was done the day before. As per customer service, was told it was against policy to refuse a correction.
Tried to get the manager to explain her reasoning but she was unable to. Unprofessional. Not sure how these places run. Seems fishy.. too bad a place like this right in the downtown of Calgary is run like this.
