Came by to try to find a pair of shoes for travel and lots of walking. The staff here is super knowledgeable and even though I didn't buy the pair I wanted because they didn't have my size, I was able to learn about the different types of shoes for different feet and I will be buying my next pair there. Thank you for your help

I went into Gord's today for the first time ever, looking for new runners. Nigel greeted me immediately, listened to my concerns about my current runners, brought out 10 different brands, watched me walk, studied how each pair fit, and helped me choose the best pair. I've never had such great service picking out shoes, and I'm so grateful for Nigel's expertise! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Phenomenal experience at Gord's. David was helping me and we tried on a big variety of shoes, talked about my gait, and differences in stability etc.
I never felt pressured to go one way or the other, just felt supported in making a good decision.
10/10 recommend for any runner, or anyone who wants a good pair of shoes and to learn something about their gait/stride.
I went through their website to find out what shoe would be best for me. They responded with a thoughtful, lengthy email discussing different options for shoes that were similar to my current shoe that I love.

I have known Gord for over 30 years. His store is invaluable for all walks of life. From
International athletes to folks who just want to keep moving, everyone receives the same service.
His staff is second to none, you know whoever serves you, Gord has approved them, so by extension you are seeing Gord. I always have to put a leash on when I walk in because there are so many other spectacular active ideas to choose from. This little store on the corner provides so much opportunity to be the best you can be!
