We are a family of 5 with 3 kids, and we have been coming to this pharmacy for the past one year. Khalil Khan is a very knowledgeable pharmacist and he will attend to your medical needs and will provide the appropriate medication for all your family members. Their customer service level is top notch. Highly recommend Future Drug Mart.

I found this nice little family run pharmacy a couple years ago and now won't go anywhere else, even when it is a bus trip compared to walking down the street to a different one. The owner and his family are simply..KIND. I have always noticed they are compassionate towards all different people who go in there, and I never found anyone who worked there judgmental. I've been there a LOT, as I have an undiagnosed health problem, so am a bit high maintenance, and also phone often and both the husband and wife always take the time to patiently answer all my questions and offer advice if they can. I have seen before people weeping over their depression or illness (and have felt that way) and still be safe and treated with dignity in that store. They offer flu shots as well and are very gentle and calming people. They also have a little store on 17th Ave and the person who works there is nice and a very gentle human being as well. I know everyone's experience of a place isn't the same, but I've been there many, many times in the last couple years.

I will never use this pharmacy again. Three times I have visited and thee times I been mistreated. On the first visit the pharmacist was a somewhat overweight short dark man with a natural beard. On taking my prescription he laughed and then stated loudly it was a birth control prescription. His reaction confused and embarrassed me (pharmacists are usually understanding of the need for discretion - this man was not), but I stood and waited while he filled it. During this time he continuously looked back at me and smirked. The exchange left me feeling very uncomfortable and dismayed at his lack of professionalism. I left quickly and vowed never to return.
It took four years but I went back last month as I was suffering intense menstrual cramps. The pain was so intense I was doubled over on a chair, but ended up waiting 25 minutes for the prescription to be filled. Customers came and went, but I was in my own world of pain and didn't fully realize something was wrong until I was finally called up and the woman apologized. Her guilty expression and lack of eye contact made me realize, they had forgotten about me.
Today I went back for an antibiotic prescription and saw the same pharmacist that had laughed at me. This time when I placed my prescription on the counter he completely ignored me while taking my prescription and handing it off to a female colleague. He never once raised his head to look at me, instead he turned his back leaning against the counter and did not acknowledged my existence in any manner. Only when his assistant (a young man that had at least made eye contact as I waited) gave me my prescription and was instructing me on how to take it, did the black bearded pharmacist suddenly interrupt and begin to repeat what his assistant had just said, as well stating loudly that my prescription was for a urine infection.
I advise people not to use this pharmacy unless you don’t mind being ignored or having your medical needs laughed at. Though I now understand this is a Muslim run pharmacy, due to an Allah prayer I saw hanging beside the counter today, so there may be some cultural reason behind the pharmacists behavior.
