Our family enjoys the quality meat products and our dog loves the raw meat diet. He’s happy and healthy and doesn’t suffer from allergies anymore. We always get the best service to top it off!!

Bought some short ribs and the amount of fat for 10$ /lb was insane
First time cooking 10 pounds of short ribs and coming out with minimal meat
Super disappointing. And yes I did pick the set of ribs but it is hard to tell how fat the cap is in the vacpac.
Ended up with pounds of jello fat and take out pizza

I'm regularly stopping into Cut Rite to spoil my pup with bones and chicken feet. Attached are photos of a few years of doggie birthdays. A Cut Rite bone since year one.
Every visit the staff have been exceedingly friendly and helpful. They're always willing to go the extra mile to help accommodate my large dog and his large bone needs, often going so far as to cut something special if the offered selection doesn't have what we're looking for. They've even special wrapped his birthday and Christmas bones.
I love that they always have sizes and cuts of fresh bones that are appropriate and as safe as possible for every size pup as well as a large selection of other options to spoil your dog.
The humans of my house are on a low meat/vegetarian diet, but this would definitely be one of my main sources of eggs/meats if that wasn't the case. On the rare occasion I have cooked with beef, the difference between ground meat from Cut Rite v.s. grocery store selections has also been surprisingly significant. Maybe it's the ratio of fat, or just the selection and amount of cows that go into the product, but I sincerely recommend butcher sourced ground beef from anyone looking to elevate their cooking.
Not as a critique, but a wishful desire—I would appreciate it if there was more information about the animals and farms they are sourced from on the butcher's website. I would pay a premium and purchase much more for myself if there was even a small selection of meats with a confirmed exceptional diet and environment during life and/or from older animals. Even if it was only on offer occasionally.
I do understand the impracticality of such a request and that it is a lot to ask of any small business. No hate to any individual or small business surviving in our current food systems, this is just an area I choose to very cautiously direct my money towards.
Despite any moral hesitations I have around purchasing animal products, this is a wonderful local shop I always feel good about supporting. I'm so thankful that they exist in my community and I am able to procure so many animal products for my furry roommates. Every time I see the young boys in the shop I swear I remember seeing them at half the height. It's the kind of small, local, family business that I wish we had more of in the city.

Have ordered 2 butcher boxes and both boxes are excellent meat well worth the prices. Steaks are huge and serve two/three people at least for our family they do and we are a family of 6, pork chops are my favorite they’re so thick great size portion…both boxes did have to wait longer than the estimated pick up date but that is out of their control. Overall very satisfied very friendly staff if you have a question about your order they are so understanding and don’t get upset with more then one call. Just want to edit this and add that they do have a message on their website that states meat packs and delivery can take up to 2 weeks so being patient will do good unlike me hence the couple phone call comment ?…will definitely recommend the butcher boxes and will be ordering again when we run out

Purchased a whole pig for roasting. It was delivered out to our rural area and was delicious as advertised. Very happy with the service.

Check your steaks before they wrap them. I made the mistake again of asking for steaks, and they go off to back and come back with them wrapped. You get home and then they are not to our liking. Too much fat and gristle, or the filet on the t-bone is almost non existent. When you pay premium prices 30 I expect it to be better. That was the whole purpose of going to an actual butcher and not Safeway.
