As everyone else I also look for mechanic shops that take care of cars as their own vehicles. Country Hills Mechanic Shop is one of those. Visiting many mechanics since 1988 I found couple of shops are honest to customer and I found this shop I can trust as well.
They are as professional as efficient. after inspecting cars they provided clear and concise explanations of what work needed to be done and why along with if there’s any risk involved. They are beating other shops price comparing to service. I recommended them to family and they are now my first choice when it comes to vehicle repair. God bless them.

We take our vehicles here for oil changes, as the price is right. We noticed our Hyundai was leaking a bit of oil a few weeks after our last oil change. We have warranty from the dealership so we took it to Country Hills Hyundai who charged us $100 to tell us the oil filter was loose. I took it back to Country Hills Mechanic who fixed it, did a new oil change and gave us $80! They also booked us in for next week to make sure the problem was fixed. Super impressed with their service.

I went to this mechanic for a small problem(which later on I learned by another mechanic could have been fixed by changing oil) and they told me that I needed to change a valve. Less than a week later my car breaks down again and now I have to paid $5K to fix it. They said I had to change my engine. When I brought to another mechanic they said the valve was not change, and fixed the same problem for $1K without the need change engine. The other mechanic said I could have been ripped off because he did not see a valve changed, I thought it made sense bc when I asked them for my valve they said they did not have it.
Also, when I first brought my car there I saw they charged a man $4K, I thought that's crazy, then the next visit they charged me $5K. So if you bring your car there and the next visit you need to paid more than $1K, you have a case in the smart court claim bc then it's a pattern.
They did reimburse me for the towing services I acquired when my car broke down two days after I took it to their shop.

Good prices and nice counter staff.
Too bad the techs ruined the experience by leaving oil and greasy fingerprints around the door handle and on the hood.
The steering wheel was also covered in oil and grease, I used my sleeve to clean it.
Not impressed!!

I had an oil change in Cochrane and the filter was on wrong. By the time I got to Calgary I had oil everywhere. I picked the closet shop which was Country Hills mechanic shop. They took the filter off and put it on correctly and added 2 liters of oil very quickly as I had appointments to go to.
Cudos to these guys.
